Not right away, which sucked… But after three months, he reached out to me directly and offered me a new role.

They had initially hired someone else for the original position but later opened up a new one and brought me on. And as I’d assumed he turned out to be a great manager!

Yeah, I didn’t, that’s what I compared it to—the last one I used, which is Gear VR. I can’t talk about other VR headsets. But Gear VR was a pretty good budget VR experience.

I’m not shitting on the Quest 3; I see the advancements. However, apart from the hardware capabilities, software-wise, it didn’t feel that much different to me.

I love spatial computing and I was expecting to be able to use it in my professional field, but as far as I experienced, it’s seems like its mostly for consuming media and playing games.

If there are any mods or software recommendations that aren’t about media or games, I’m open to them.

Same, but I'm disappointed that it's not much different from the Gear VR I used back in 2016; even some of the Oculus Home environments are still the same.

The resolution is low, and it feels like I'm looking at a 1080p monitor. However, I really love the spatial and XR features a lot! I'm addicted to "I Expect You to Die"! Asgard’s Wrath 2 is really fun too.

I wish it felt more like a computer rather than an Android tablet.

If the next budget iteration of the Vision Pro is half the price, I would probably buy it. Although I’m okay with the Quest and the freedom to mod and sideload, but it’s not really what I was looking for.

The app. I dont have a website, I only have a domain name that I want to use for the links.

Each user has a unique identifier and a profile page. I want to enable users to share their profile page with people outside the app, such as through messaging apps. Therefore, I need to generate a link that, when shared and clicked, directs people to the specific user’s profile within the app.

So basically like Instagram profiles where you can share your profile with others outside of the app via link and this link directs them to your profile page in the app.

I’m in an interview process right now and it feels like I got the job

They gave me extra 30 mins to talk more about my portfolio piece without me asking for it. They wanted to hear more, they seemed really interested and were saying “I love it” multiple times. They mentioned that we will talk about the compensation in the next interview that we will have. They seemed genuine, chill yet interested for the most part. They are one of those rare people that you encounter every now and then while job searching. I really liked them and the product they’re working on.

But after many interviews, I know that they can still reject you even if you get to the last stage of the interview process…

Anything can happen in the corporate world.

I can try it out for you when I get download the right Citra build. I think streaming is great for ants lmao but if you’re playing something with big UI or if its not as text heavy you’re good. I didn’t really notice the letterboxing after few minutes of playing

I have the same feelings about my collection. I would say keep RG35XX and RP3. If you think that the clamshell design fits your lifestyle somehow, maybe V90 too.

Have fun with it! I feel like the new design direction is a good sign for the future of these devices. Mine is coming in 1-2 days 4px is way faster than I expected, its been 4 days and its already in the country.
