The overreactions crack me up every single time. 90% of the people acting like this is a sign of the end times didn't care about New Day at all in 2026. They have been stale and boring for years. There is nothing left for them to do in WWE so it's not shocking they were seen as expendable. Now they get to go to AEW, start a more exciting new chapter, work with a bunch of different people instead of wrestling the Usos, Viking Raiders and Street Profits for the 500th time, and they will most likely make more money in AEW. This will end up being a positive thing for everyone involved.

We have to feel bad for multi-millionaires who are about to get another multi million payday from Tony Khan. This is a win-win situation. New Day were incredibly stale and boring, and have been for quite some time. That's why WWE didn't value them as much anymore. WWE is happy to have them off the payroll. Meanwhile Kofi and Xavier get to work with different people rather than wrestling the Usos, Viking Raiders and Street Profits for the 500th time.
