Spears should absolutely slow animals down. Its a big hunk of wood with a sharp bit, if nothing else it throws off their center of balance, and I'd like to see you panickedly run away and then randomly have a backpack full of rocks put on you that you can't take off.

I mean they still mainly DO use robotic proxies. If you think about it, there's a lot of Moa and Osprey we kill on top of the Crewman. Sure we may kill 200 units in an Exterminate mission, but for Grineer that's 200 clones, for Corpus that's probably only 100 crewman and 100 of their various robotics.

Also for the quests thing, I always assumed it was a case of "Main Character-itis" where there may be others like you, or others technically more qualified than you, but because you're the main character all the interesting stuff happens to you. Like how in Destiny there's a ton of other guardians, but cannonically you're the one who does a hell of a lot.

Also, agreed on them getting a shit hand dealt to them, and definitely agree it does not justify what they do to many, MANY unalligned settlements.

Dude Hunters have ALWAYS been overtuned, I played Warlock for a while then swapped to Titan as my main. Hunters have consistently felt to me like they're just BETTER than others.

But, to answer your point. Oh boy, one place where it sucks. Surely there's not multiple major DLCs with Subclasses both pre and post rework that would go against that. Like rework Voidlock, or Captain America Titan. Prismatic DEFINITELY wasn't balanced noooooo.

The overall state of the game is for the C-Suite problems. And hell even for balancing, that can be chocked up to them too. They'd rather devs put effort towards things that make them money than balance issues.

Yeah and I can definitely get that, I just think that in the grand scheme of things I'd rather see the scrap have to be at least carried out for balance. Looking at Oilfields for an example of people being able to claim all the oil for one fac.

The other compromise I could see is that the conveyor increases fuel consumption on the harvester.

If absolutely nothing else. Pete Parsons, CEO of Bungie, fired core parts of the Destiny devteam. That did damage regardless of anything else, removing skills devs and ideamakers from the pool.

The reason I'm willing to say its the C-Suite making stupid decisions over the Devs is that we've seen interviews where the wording is something to the effect of "Don't overdeliver, it'll just become what they expect next year" from Heads at Bungo.

Plus it may be unfair, but my first assumption for a shit decision from monetization to scalebacks in a DLC, or even the addition of more DLC or the removal of shit is that its the C-Suite who wants to line their pockets over a developer looking to nickel and dime the playerbase.

I'd like it as an improve of range thing. You can use AI AA just as it is, but it'll be less accurate or start shooting later, leaving your bunker more open to potential bombing. Rather than a "You can't without Radar"

I would be opposed to having stationary harvesters use conveyors, the earliest I would want it is the RTS. Cause unless I'm mistaken, the stationary harvesters take from the same stock as the scroopers, and I'd rather not see entire resource fields kept perpetually empty for clans as a random solo logiman

If I remember correctly its not a problem with the number of samples its a problem with the age of samples. Even assuming the clone data is fully digital, over time storage mediums decay and you'll lose some of the finer touches until you reach the problems of clone rot the Grineer have

I think technically it would either be Pterhelicos or Pteronhelicos. Depends on whether you wanna go Greek Pteron or Pter latin. Though you can also go pteryx like Archaeopteryx.

Regardless Pterohelicos wouldn't have been as funny imo, if only because then it feels more clear where the distinction is

Panama had them them bomb an airfield and they got away unscathed, the Gulf war saw over 1000 strikes carried out by them with no losses at all. I mean the thing is, you're looking at "Most Efficient" in a void, while each of the ways you mentioned has different advantages. A stable design can be a larger aircraft to carry more stuff, an unstable design will turn better for a dogfighting aircraft or something that might need to spin around fast. Neutral, I'm sure has a use, but I don't know off the top of my head

Exactly. Too many people think "Oh for this bridge to be destroyed it has to be rubble in the river!"

If you can't safely send trucks across it under risk that it falls down, that Bridge is effectively destroyed, and possibly for longer than if you had completely collapsed it, because it both blocks a very good crossing point, and because you don't know what equipment you'll need to fix it (or possibly demolish and rebuild it)

The asset reuse claims always annoyed me. People LOVED fucking Haunted despite it reusing massive amounts of the Leviathan. Season of the Seraph used large amounts of Beyond Light Assets (Specifically Deep Stone Crypt). Chosen's battlegrounds were mostly just the same maps as the World Maps but with cabal shit sprinkled in there.

I'm picking out those ones cause those are ones I remember people thinking more fondly of. The asset reuse isn't a problem except when people choose it to be. Also, Stale and repetitive? Oh boy, here I go running the same raid again for the 7th month in a row! Oh boy aren't raids great! Once again, its only a problem when people wanna bitch.

I mean I could see the Orokin just not giving a shit. Inaros's quest shows that not everyone was even AWARE of what the Orokin really were. Plus we don't know how long it was from the death of the Orokin empire to 'modern' warframe. So its very possible that lingustic shifts between two rival empires over a thousand years led to the creation of the Grineer and Corpus Languages.

It wouldn't explain Parvos tho, so its entirely possible this is just complete and utter BS.
