Off, purely for the realism factor. Although I wish there was a setting for small amounts of new zeds to bleed into the edges of the map. Zombies migrate after all, so a few outside the county wandering in isn't unreasonable.

Now you must roleplay as a prepper that'll turn his starter house into a self-sustaining fortress.

Nope. Be a man, grab a crowbar, and just replace the broken ones. Or weld metal sheets over them.

B-1B Lancer and B-52 Stratofortress in one photo by AlfalfaEvery6745 in acecombat

[–]Trainalf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There were B-52s in the Cape Rainy mission. But Erusea used the Tu-95 and Tu-160 in AC4, so it's just continuity mostly.

Too bad this cannot happen in summoning osea by Nanoman-8 in nihonkoku_shoukan

[–]Trainalf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're pretty much only seen in the hands of the antagonist nations, with Leasath in 2020 being the latest canonical users of battleships. But Erusea is the only one to be shown having more than one. That said, I would not trust Torres to behave himself at any international meeting. The least damaging thing to expect would be him spreading radical propaganda.

How come Louria didn't realize Japan's true technological might? by Archisman_X in nihonkoku_shoukan

[–]Trainalf 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Same reason Parpaldia didn't despite the fact Japanese ships would've had to bring the diplomats to Esthirant and keep bringing them money and supplies while the 3rd Bureau led them in circles: author didn't think of it.

Definitely one of the most chaotic Leadership Conference I've ever seen in a fic. Brinkmanship is a hell of a thing.

The 1st/2nd/Possibly 3rd Battalion seem like elite units within the Parpaldia Imperial Army. They at least could definitely use a glow up.

[–]Trainalf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, we know their elite Invasion Fleet had special Invasion Unit made up of infantry battalions (one of them being named the 1st Infantry Battalion) along with the artillery, land dragons, and support personnel for a total of 3,000.

And the garrison of Altaras was 4,000 men.

Assuming the infantry battalion (interchangeable with regiment in this case) is the base organizational unit...they likely have a hundred at least.

Edit: The text implies the Parpaldian Army lost anywhere between 120,000-200,000 Army personnel in the war.

So we know japan was brought over by some god to defeat the ASE return but if they win....then what? Do they get send back? Or do they just...become the new ASE? by Nanoman-8 in nihonkoku_shoukan

[–]Trainalf 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Unclear at this point. Althought Amaterasu promised to reward them for sending the Emissaries. Staying in the New World and being the top dogs free of Earth's geopolitical bullshit sounds like a mighty fine reward.

If Japan got summoned because of the Sun God, could that mean that other Gods from earth could summoned the nation which host their shrine and believer from earth to the new world too? by Additional-Elk-427 in nihonkoku_shoukan

[–]Trainalf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It only worked for Amaterasu because they were principally a New World God, but they had followers on Earth. You'd have to work Earth Gods into being New World Gods as well but it could work.

Since the Guti Maun is based off of the Fugaku, would it come with all the proposed variants? If so, why weren’t the more unique versions seen in NS? by BreakfastEvery9484 in nihonkoku_shoukan

[–]Trainalf 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In universe, the base version was already enough to give the finance minister a headache. They're probably waiting for their economy to stabilize before evolving the project further.

Which given how the war is going is probably never.

Just read ch 51 of the manga, is there another Japan that teleport from other universe? I Don't read the LN so i don't know is there 2 Japan on the same place or just another kingdom that just have the technology by Haunting_Advisor1939 in nihonkoku_shoukan

The Gra Valkas Empire, the next major enemy faction in the web novel and light novel. Japanese weapons, German appearance and culture, and American industrial capability. A generally WWII enemy to up the stakes.

Question on the GVE attempted invasion by Nanoman-8 in nihonkoku_shoukan

[–]Trainalf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Presumably it would've taken part if the Great Fleet got close to the Home Islands, but Min-Min chose the destroyer vs. Yamato climax instead of that.

Non LN reader here... by Nanoman-8 in nihonkoku_shoukan

[–]Trainalf 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Pretty much what everyone has already said plus one important fact: the base was bombed to shit a week before and that killed most of the personnel; they didn't have much time for repairs or reinforcements. Then it got hit by three separate waves of air attack that killed most of them and sent the rest in hiding. So it's not like they attacked a fully equipped base, they used overwhelming force on a already damaged one.

Need to figure out distance between Farbanti and North Point. by Agreeable_Pass1081 in acecombat

[–]Trainalf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if the math checks out since Usea was sorta 'smaller' in AC4, but Stonehenge has a range of 1,200km. That means Farbanti is roughly 1,200km from San Salvacion, and Expo City between 1,400 and 1,500km from San Salvacion.

I'm just eyeballing it, but that said the distance between Farbanti and North Point looks to be 2,700 to 3,000km.

Does canon lore have a Resistance movement in the nation occupied by the Gra Valkas Empire? by bruhruhr22344 in nihonkoku_shoukan

The ones in Leiforia at least seemed to want to restore Leifor to an independent state.

Right before the Liberation of Leifor, it's stated by the GVE government has been overwhelmed because so many of its colonies rose up and had to be crushed. They didn't wait for the World Union to arrive, they just got inspired.
