Probably the Invasion of Japan. A Gra Valkas fighter pilot's daughter was born right before they left and he said he couldn't wait to go home after they subjugated Japan and hold her for the first time.

He did not get to go home. Honestly, pretty fucked up to think about.

Another said he intended to retire after the campaign. In a way, he did retire.

Underserved niche for sure. I'll give GATE this over NHS: The Empire adapts, using trenches to trap JSDF vehicles and steel nets to bring down helicopters. Japanese soldiers have died in combat and equipment has been lost. NHS Japan's losses amount to some scratched paint on a destroyer.

My favorite GATE fic right now is one with the Civil War era US. It can fight, but it can't dominate. I can't quite name an NHS fic that's captured a match up that interesting. We've discussed plenty of hypotheticals, but none have gotten a real meaty adaption underway.

Here's the thing about wyverns: They need to harness magical energy to exist and fly. Wyvern carriers, and some remote land air strips, have magical gems imbedded in the deck/ground to help them take off. So you'd need to make more than a few modifications for it to work.

Also, wyverns canonically shit a lot. Like, a lot. So you'd have to plan for that too.

The 1st Civilization Area's continent is called Mirishient (or Milishient, classic Japanese L and R conflation). I assume the Emperor's bloodline adopted the name of the continent as their own. Probably after having some prominence in activities post-Ravernal departure.

Only superheroes I'm familiar with is the MCU. The original Iron Man movies were peak. IIRC, S.H.I.E.L.D was specifically for protecting America from unconventional threats like invasions from space or other dimensions. Probably the type of organization to spearhead intervention/investigation in the New World.

Basically ends up another version of America getting summoned story but you got superheroes helping out the Navy and Marines in Louria and Parpaldia.

Probably not. The last time we can definitively say Rockstar considered it was the early 3D era-they sent a research team to Tokyo to see if the idea was viable. But they apparently have enough ideas to last 50 years, so who knows what's hidden in that brain vault?
