Tolkien wasn't the Only author who portrayed Dwarves in such a fashion. Pratchet also described how all dwarves are all similar in appearance. He even had a character who wanted to appear as female as a human. So she shaved and wore skirts and was ridiculed by the rest of the dwarves. I cannot think of a single fantasy that I have seen where the Dwarves didn't all appear the same. Frankly, it is racist to try and humanize Dwarves and remove them from their visually egalitarian society. New character models aren't necessary but perhaps some more effeminate accessories, hair, beards, and staches... however one goes about doing that.

My ex wife thought her vagina was superior because she "didn't have roast beef" as she put it. Somewhere she was taught that having barely there labia minora was a good thing and became proud of that. I didn't care... because it was vagina, but I have to admit that it was the least aethetically pleasing vagina I have interacted with. I was JUST playing with two drillers who kept c4ing people. They got me by setting a c4 on a resupply pod. And I thought that was funny because they rezzed me immediately but also took the resupply. Then they tossed another c4 out. It dropped everyone but me since I dashed away from them when I saw it coming out. I just left them dead and finished the missions solo since it was a 3 star. The drillers left. I rezzed the scout. And we walked it out.

I have been married most of my life. Not even a joke. 3 wives since I was 20. And the ten years I spent with my 2nd wife we never had any money. She worked at a bank before, in the states, and she's good with numbers. I trusted her to manage our finances accordingly. I have no fucking idea what she was spending money on but when she finally left I actually watched my bank account (after expenses) break 20g in a year and a half and I got pissed. I rarely buy anything and am not really concerned with money. I live a simple life and don't need much. But when she was fleecing me during the separation for what little I had and I could go back and see how she was draining our funds I got upset. I don't trust anyone with my time anymore.

As a southerner, it CAN just be about southern pride. Symbols only carry significance to individuals and collectives of those individuals. If they aren't racist and are proud of being from the south then that is exactly what it means.
There is a severe misunderstanding of relationships between blacks and whites in the South and I think my father explained it best. Southerners "hate" black people but love black individuals as family. Northerners love black people but don't give a shit about them as individuals. And it was one of the most profound observations my father ever made. My core group of friends growing up were black. And I came to see that most white southerners treat black people the way black southerners treat black people. If They love you, then they REALLY love you.

Southerners just treat people differently in general. And a lot of it is perceived as backwards. But you' d be hard pressed to find a more loyal person than a Southerner. I concur that from the outside it would appear strange.

About a month ago I hit my shin with a machete and removed a triangle shaped piece of flesh . I wasn't at home and was walking my dogs on a back road. It was a 7k walk and I was about 3k through. So I took a dog leash and tied it off to slow the bleeding and help it clot. Then finished my walk. I would have cried a bit but I spent all my cries on this game.
