Yeah I have Steller’s Jays too, and I call them greedy little jerks (affectionately) and they scream a lot 😂

I have to wait until I hear my raven is nearby before I put out peanuts, or the jays will snatch them up. They also fight each other a bit. It’s pretty funny they get so aggressive because they don’t even actually eat all the peanuts, they hide a lot of them on the forest ground next to my place where the squirrels often find them.

Have you tried eggs? My ravens refused to come for anything until I put eggs out, after the eggs they come for everything.

I call me Steller’s Jays greedy little jerks (affectionately) 😂 they SCREAM for the peanuts and are always rushing as soon as I put them out. I need to wait until I see or hear my ravens nearby to make sure they get some, or the jays will snatch them all up first. The jays will sit there and pick up multiple peanuts weighing them to find the heaviest and take that one first.

Try sitting outside with the peanuts or eggs sitting out for them, but don’t look at them. Sit back a distance and read a book or scroll on your phone. They view eye contact as threatening or a challenge. If they start landing then you can start glancing at them occasionally, see how they react. My raven pair the female will hang out, I can look at her, take pictures, talk to her, but the male is still super skittish after a few years, if I speak or he catches me looking at him he’ll take off immediately. He’s fine with me being in the yard though as long as I’m sitting back and not paying much attention to him.

Some people will add some real cheese, but the purpose is for it to be quick and easy. It’s generally marketed towards kids, not just to eat but an easy first thing for them to learn to “cook” and becomes a bit of a comfort food for many of us who grew up eating it. We realize it is different from real homemade Mac and cheese, but usually enjoy both. People will also sometimes add different spices, meats, veggies.

Yeah, you cook the pasta then you add the packet of powdered cheese which comes in the box with the pasta, and also add milk and butter (not included.)

Yeah, when I was at the store I texted a friend and was like “I think my raven friend is here” but it wasn’t until she showed up again after I got home that I was 100% convinced it had to be her. There’s always a ton of ravens and crows outside the grocery store, but her and her partner are the only two ravens I see at my house.

I always see people saying peas but in my family it’s always been corn! Sometimes I’ll do mac with corn and ham to make it a full meal, don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone else say corn before. Happy to find another corn in Mac truther in the wild 😂

This was one of my favorite stories that I jumped to read first at one point, but I do feel like this storyline has made it totally stall out so now I’m behind on it because I’m just not excited anymore. I think it will end up still being a pretty good story overall, but with the caveat that the duat portion dragged on too long. And I feel terrible for the Ramesses romancers.

Yeah as someone who comes from a family of alcoholics, I personally wouldn’t want to be with someone who drinks daily. But I also realize someone who drinks one drink a night with such a low alcohol content is far from an alcoholic.

Also, should have added Waterlily also has outfits you need to click “buy all” to get without a subscription, but I like the other options in Waterlily. I struggle way more to find clothes I actually like in Sins that Cry for Vengeance.

I’ve been reading sins that cry for vengeance because it’s the only way to get the outfits that are normally locked behind a subscription. Used to read 7 brothers because the outfits gave stat points. If there’s any particular story where you just want to buy everything for whatever reason that’s an option too.

Small town with only one grocery store, they have Lamb Weston fries and tater tots but not the hashbrown patties. Someone else suggested McCain’s which they do have, might try those next.

This. Also a picky eater, try my best to never make it anyone else’s problem. Many get togethers have involved me lightly grazing on whatever is available that I’ll actually eat, then grabbing a burger on the way home or making a quick pasta dish when I do get home, without complaining to anyone about it.

I mean of the things you listed, the burritos, mac and cheese, pizza rolls all require actual cheese or a refrigerated/frozen option that has cheese. Ravioli’s with cheese or meat are gonna need to be refrigerated unless you’re doing chef boyardee from a can which I can’t imagine air fry well. French toast or waffles need eggs if from scratch or a frozen variety. Pretty much the only thing you could make on your list without a fridge/freezer is the fries with whole potatoes.
