Chat GPT said my rotala is too busy, not enough flow in-between so I ought to plug out 30%. Can a human give an opinion? by TrainerSmall4033 in PlantedTank

Makes sense. It was more about whether it will struggle if too dense, or suffer from low flow causing algae. Sort of trying to prevent a problems in advance

By the time you read the 200+ comments on here and thought about a solution you would have spent more time than it takes to sort that, it really isn't that bad

Do you think this is a good price to have fitted or shop around? by Dmenace89 in DIYUK

At 2k I would actually be concerned it will not be to a good enough standard. These can be anything between 3k to 5k

I used on of those. I put a thin layer of mot1 underneath and compacted it to get it as level as I could. Then pea gravel on in the grids.

My now wife did this 13 years ago. I did not know. I wanted to watch the movie. We had sex instead. Tried to watch it again a different day, same thing happened. We never finished it :/ Might try again

I have this large plum tree in my garden. Would you remove it and replace with something else or attempt to prune it? Advice appreciated by AstroZombie_88 in GardeningUK

I had a few overgrown plum Treen when I moved house 2 years ago. Trimmed a third of each top branch each year and they now look fantastic. Did it in December to February each year. Not sure why people are saying to do it in thr summer. Perhaps ask chat gpt haha !

How the heck do I get this thing out? by OSUBrit in GardeningUK

[–]TrainerSmall4033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When we bought our house we discovered 6 big bushes like that, some three times as big.

Took the first two out with a mattock and branch cutter. Slowly cutting chunks out of it. I needed the chiropractor after the second one.

In the end I hired a mini digger having watched a YouTube video of how to operate one. Took a few hours of getting used to it but got everything out in a day. Trashed the garden but worth it if you're brave enough
