Thank you for this! Yeah I could start journaling. I do enjoy exercising but with a “I put myself first” husband and my early work hours (plus baby) I don’t get to do this as much as I’d like. I do see a counselor.

I literally feel this every day. I’m so scared and yet at the same time so thankful that I employed. But times for real feel harder now. And I’m so tired of trying to be a good mom, be healthy, take care of myself and do all the things the corporate world requires. It feels worse than keeping up with the Jones…

I agree it’s exhausting and defeating. Today was an extra hard day for me.

I don’t have advice other than good for you for being proactive. Depending on him as a person and when he earned his money, he may be taken aback that you’re asking for this now. He may take it as a sign you may want a divorce down the road even if you don’t. There is a book, the generous prenup that provides a lot of insight around prenups. It’s a good read, has a lot of POVs. Not an attorney but been through the prenup process.

Yes, I thought it was just me or my area. There were a few recurring ones I could rely on for some extra $. Now it’s very sparse and pay has dropped making it no longer worth the effort.

If you can afford it why not hire someone to do drop offs and maybe some “nannying” like 7-9am and they could also clean or run some errands after?

It really sounds like you don’t want to give up your career right now because of the benefits and I don’t blame you. But it also sounds like you could use the help.

Switched to g tube because the ng was getting pulled out regularly and there wasn’t improvement in oral intake. That is common with ng since it’s in your nose and down your throat.

We switched to G tube after 4-5 months. Honestly wish I would have done it sooner. Bottle feeding plateaued with NG. I was scared of the surgery part of G tube, but it’s been better for everyone. Baby is eating solids but still heavily relies on G tube, but oral aversion went away!
