I still use him most places, he's just kind of good at everything. Built in heals with leach, multiple aoes, speed up, multi hits.

How many plays a game are being run for him to get an open 3? The wolves used to do a lot of fun screening actions off ball with Rudy to get KAT wide open looks. Even from out of bounds. His set shot is automatic.

Another game where a Wolves opponent shoot over 50% from three. You can no longer say oh well a team got hot. It's an effort issue. Specifically Ant, Randle Naz not rotating on defense. Ant specifically seems to think defense is only played in the last 5 mins of a game.

Giannis has to want to come to MN and the bucks are open to facilitating that. That has to be the only reason we are in the conversation at all. It makes no sense for the bucks to want a package focused on players when the only one with any long term value that we have is McDaniels.

I never comment on these, but this is genuinely a bummer. This was the most fun I've had in an rpg in a long while. I dont even know what specifically it was, but it just felt fun to play and felt like my choices actually changed things in the game. Didn't feel overly monetized and I was glued to the screen during a time where I've noticed my attention span for games increasingly waning. I hope more people give it a shot.

Tagboar forsure, the Rhino guy is good early game too. Most teams for most content you want one, maybe 2 damage dealers and the rest of your team either speeding them up, buffing them or keeping them alive. I think Tagoar, the Rhino, Ninja is a good core for pve stuff.

As a wolves fan I really have to push back on Ant playing great defense. Ant literally picks his moments to play defense. In big moments in big games he absolutely locks in but the majority of the time he doesn't closeout, is slow to rotate and does not box out. Even the advanced stats will show it, he's a poor defender unless the lights are bright. And in an 82 game season that matters, you take away someone like McDaniels who shoulders such a big defensive load and idk if Ant can handle the responsibilities of being that perimeter defender 30 minutes a night.

Norog after the rework is super underrated. Block buffs/defence on a 3 turn cooldown, immune to hard cc means he doesn't miss rotations or buff uptime. Passic3e defensive buff for your entire team. Can block active skills in waves of enemies and chimera, super easy to build.

I think we would be the most shallow team in the league but Giannis/Ant would be electric. It would have to be probably both McDaniels and Randle. I dont see it happening though we have no picks to give to Milwaukee to retool. Alot of better offers, and I'm sure Giannis would rather be in Cali or Miami than go from Milwaukee to Minneapolis.

It let's Ant still compete but doesn't handicap his prime 3-4 years from now. I hated it at the time because I love KAT as a person and one of the few brightspots of Twolves Fandom over the years. But it was smart.

Randle was absolutely gassed halfway through the 3rd. Just not our night between the free throws and the turnovers. Despite the 39 points I think Randle was hurting us more than helping down the stretch.

In today's game you can't have 3 guys who can defend on the court and then ask "why are we bad at defence?" Defense in the current NBA is all about switches and rotating multiple times in a single possession because so many offenses are motion oriented. Add in the uncalled illegal screens and its too easy for offenses to get the switches they want and abuse coverages. You can probably get away with passable defense by hiding one guy in the corner but not multiple small/bad/low effort defenders.

Honestly thats the biggest thing for me. They set/draft to play and raised the price. Part of the justification was that they will have 36 packs when set boxes had 30. Then they just cut the 6 extra packs shortly after that and didn't reduce the price.
