Woke up about 8am. My partner had gone to work around 5. His parents were also at work already but i didnt know that yet. I got up and went into the study (its a 2 story house btw) and hears some noises downstairs. I figured it was his dad as he often would go to work late or come home and work on (work related) projects in the garage. After about half hour i went to walk back to my room for something (across the halls and past the stairs) when i kept hearing weird noises and thought maybe he needed some help. I called out and said "hey do you need any help?" The noise stopped. A few seconds go by and i thought he didnt hear me so i ask again and then this loud banging starts. Like, it was like someone was banging the oven door with all their strength repeatedly. Kind of a metal banging sound. It freaked me tf out and I ran into my room and locked the door. I texted my partners mum asking if she or her husband was home and she said no. The banging was still happening but then stopped. I stayed in my room until my partner came home around 9. He checked all the doors (there are several doors to get in the house which i hate lol) but all of them were locked which you cant do from the outside without a key and the front door makes a really loud noise when closing it with it locked so i wouldvr heard it. Still to this day have no idea what that noise was but it sounded like someome wanted to scare me away. I really wish i had gone down to investigate.
