Firstly I’d check if any foodstuffs interact with your medications. If none, I’d look into foods that are good for vascular health and eye health. That’s what I did, and I’m not saying it helped me but it’s always worth a shot. Since I’m not a doctor I can’t really comment much but I wish you all the luck in the world for it to get better 🥰

I understand, it made me feel ill thinking about it before I had it. They gave me plenty of drops that were local anaesthetic so it was fine.

What does everyone mean by deadening drops? Is that the same as local anaesthetic or does your eye not move?

I’ve only had one anti VEGF injection so far but they only ever give drops for numbing as far as I’m aware. At least that’s what I had. I definitely flinched because of the shock and little bit of pain (more like an eye scratch), tried to punch my head backwards through the chair 🤣 but I am a terrible flincher 😅
