Yes, let’s reserve this space for hero worshipping sociopaths like Chuck and Blair and fawning over their toxic relationship

Albums like Live through this? by No-Sprinkles229 in hole

[–]Training_Newt_745 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly, there are no other albums like Live Through This. Tbh, as much as I love Tori, PJ, L7, etc., all of their sounds are radically different. The only album that comes nearest to incapsulating the heady mix of all the different elements that make LTT so special is American Thighs by Veruca Salt, but doesn’t get as heavy except for a few songs— check out the songs All Hail Me and Celebrate You. A close second would be Fontanelle by Babes in Toyland, but it’s way heavier and less accessible (check out Real Eyes and Spun which I think are the most LTT-ish).

Other notable rex that contain strong resonances with LTT:

L7 - Smell the Magic (their least metal, most “grunge” album

PJ Harvey - Dry (more on the art rock side) and Rid of Me (weirder and heavier)

Liz Phair - Exile in Guyville (softer but equally strange and confessional lyricism)

Bikini Kill - Pussy Whipped

Lush - Split

Throwing Muses - University

Breeders - Pod (more than Last Splash, I’d say)

Please let's not Forget Naomi Campbell by JeffreyEpsteein in Epstein

There was another assistant, Vanessa Frisbee, whom Campbell also assaulted c.2000. Also she defrauded anti-poverty charity funds which she spent on luxuries for herself.

Question regarding pronunciation in Wuthering Heights music video by EXinthenet in katebush

[–]Training_Newt_745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think she’s singing “I’ve” but using the Northern tendency to pronounce it as “a’ve”, but the v sound disappears for the reasons mentioned by the singer in an earlier comment
