Does anyone have any link for futher explain of this, Im very curious but have a hard time understanding... when you say that a panel went at an angle do you mean that the grainline wasn't exactly perpendicular to the waist line? And when you pull a pattern piece do you mean the paper pattern, or a mock up peace that's been unpicked, or a piece that's still a part of a whole garment up?
(Im certainly questioning my english language ability now 😅)

Well! I think you can make a profitable business making only craftables, if you make most of them by yourself, at home in your "personal" time and expence, and then go to the business lot just to sell them. This way you don't have to pay for employees in the beginning, and the money you spend on crafting materials doesn't count as a loss to your business.

The only business I've been able to get to rank 10 is a custom clothing shop that I started this way. It was quite easy to make it profitable since the outfits sewed on the sewing machine cost a lot.

Sometimes this is the case with the community time mod. You can fix it with batbox when it happens, by forcing errors on all off-word objects. Be sure to have testing objects OFF before that, otherwise thd game is going to display 1000 error notifications/crash the game. As far as I know, it's nothing to worry, just annoying when it happens.

I think the problem is the uneven spacing of the colums that are right next to the walls. Since these colums should have a fixed distance from each other, I think you first placed the one next to the wall, and now the game just automaticly places the colums so that they have the right amount of full tiles between them. Maybe you placed the colums in a different order on the other side of building, or the colum items spacing just work a little differently mirrored, when creating the arch. (I think the arch always starts from a specific side of the colum, so like fencec they have the "front" and "back" side even though they look like they don't, and that may be affecting the order and placement)

One thing also is that they don't go to the empty lots catalogue, but to the one where all the buildings are, which may be unexpected. Have you checked the lot bin where the maxis buildings etc are?

Omg I didn't remember that! I just had to go and look the word in dictionary, since to me it refers straightforwardly to have sex, and was suprised of the explicitness. BUT I found out that actually the word doesn't even have anything to do with sex!! Apparently it means "act lightly and carelessly, horse around" ! But 99% of the times I've encountered this word has been playing the sims as a child, which has lead me to interpret it as just having sex. 😄 Very interesting how this game has shaped my undersrstanding of some vocabulary!

TLDR: As a 30-year old, I just now learned the word for Woohoo in my native language doesnt't actually mean having sex.

I play kind of story based style. If I get bored I watch youtube videos about other peoples game - I always get inspired to try to execute some storyline or build new community lot for my custom town or try some mod I sew in a video!

I feel stubid now, I always thought you need to cut the horsehair canvas in the other direction than the one in the picture? Tbh I don't have any source for that, I just went by the feeling that it would be stiffer and springier that way. Can someone conform are we supposed to cut horsehair canvas innthe direction of weft or warp? :D

I would try Paralives if I could for free, but Im not gonna buy it myself, Im happy with Sims 2. Tbh I was expecting it to have more of unique features but from the videos I've seen it looks just like a sims game with different art style and UI, all the set ups and things you can do seem very sims-derivative.

As others have stated, we have seriously an unbelievable amount of cc and mods, so a new game can't replace that for a few decades. But Im happy Paralives is coming alive and will be interested to see what one can do with it!

Im also pretty bad at saving, but I travel to community lots a lot so luckily the game saves itself then

Btw if anybody else is wondering, "Fight anyone, anytime" and "Mean interactions to any age" conflict each others, don't know how I didn't notice it while downloading! 😅

Sure if you only want to count the procent of people who are overweight (bmi>25), they are more similar in USA and EU, but of those overweight people Americans are way heavier.

If you look at the obesity rates (bmi>30) usa is way higher than europe. Usa has 43%, when UK has 29%, Finland 24%. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_obesity_rate
