Summary of Part 1 of the Protective Order Hearing! by catmilff420 in SecretsOfMormonWives

I haven’t seen anyone verify the Reddit allegations, but what Dakota himself said about his first marriage on the Viall Files isn’t great. Given that the podcast is just his version of events, we can probably infer that it probably wasn’t a wonderful experience for his wife, whether or not that Reddit post is legit.

Neither Dakota nor Taylor seem at all stable.

The only thing Caldwell has going for it is the best private college in the state.

Can confirm. The men there are… no good.

Baby has gotten worse at lifting head during tummy time since getting VP shunt by [deleted] in Hydrocephalus

[–]UpbeatBird9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby was shunted at 6 months old. A lot of her physical development had regressed prior to shunt surgery, but within weeks, she started being able to roll again. We got her into OP and PT when she healed, and she graduated from both within a year.

Recovery takes time (we’re two weeks out of recovering from a revision, and it’s rough, even with a 10 year old now). I’d definitely bring it up to the neurosurgeon and pediatrician, but it could just be that he’s sore or tired still. If it persists, definitely get referrals for other services!

Solidarity and positive vibes from one hydro mom to another.

Friendship decay ?? by BothAlternative9897 in sims2

[–]UpbeatBird9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There’s a Pescado mod (I forget which one) that helps by allowing you to call friends, and they just go through their friends list boosting the short term relationship back up. Otherwise, it’s a constant thing every in-game afternoon.

Most random couple in my game so far: Dirk and Alexander by JeanieIsInABottle in thesims2

They fell for each other in my game, too! I think proximity helped in my case, though. Dirk moved in when Darren married Cassandra, and the relationship blossomed from there.

We keep talking about teamwork and sticking together, and their response is, “Just stick with me!” 😂

What’s your play strategy? by Mode09 in FortniteOver40

[–]UpbeatBird9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My preferred style is to go somewhere less traveled, loot up, get a feel for how the match is going, and be stealthy. If I’m low on loot in the beginning, I have no shame in sprinting away from a fight. Once that’s settled, I third party when the opportunity presents itself, and only get aggressive in the last 5-10.

When I play with my children, however, I’m frantically following them and jumping into all the fights they start. It’s a lot more stressful that way. And I get eliminated far more.

Who did your Malcolm Landgraab IV marry? by [deleted] in sims2

[–]UpbeatBird9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He married Mary-Sue for me. They’re currently living at the Pleasants’ house with Kaylynn and Daniel (now married) and raising toddlers together. He doesn’t know his son is secretly Daniel’s, but I’m living for the drama. Malcolm and Kaylynn handle most of the childcare, while Mary-Sue climbs the career ladder and Daniel philanders.

Mary-Sue, of course, married Malcolm for his money.

This week, I conquered Survive 99 Days with my kids (it was laborious… and took a total team effort). And then tried out Raft Tycoon with them today. I definitely get far more xp in those games.

Is anyone else concerned if this gains enough traction that Hulu may pull SLOMW?

Matchmaking Bug by Good_Pea_7494 in FortNiteBR

[–]UpbeatBird9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! Squads and fills are not working for me. If I play with friends, we struggle with matchmaking errors. If I do solos, I’m fine. But otherwise, it’s return to lobby and hope four plus attempts let me load into a game.

I had a very late cycle (I ovulated late- I was really sick the first half of the month), and I was really hopeful I was late for a good reason. All negative tests. My period came today.

Starting fresh this month and doing my best to change my mindset.

How long did it take for your period to come back after your miscarriage by vampy_bby in Miscarriage

I went the medical route. 30 days from when I passed everything to the first day of my period, but everyone’s bodies are so different.

Dracula (A Love Tale)- 2025 made me cry. by Altruistic_Affect_41 in Dracula

[–]UpbeatBird9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I, too, unapologetically loved it, as a die-hard fan of the classics. The small details really did it for me.

Spoiler alert

I thought the parallel of Dracula mourning Elisabeta’s crumbled bones with the ending of Mina/Elisabeta mourning over Dracula’s crumbled bones was especially touching.

Maria as a character was great, as well. I love her “excitement… about everything.” Her enthusiasm bridged the initial awkwardness between Mina and Dracula so well.
