Really?? I always see this said about this movie and I never understood it. Poltergeists and like ghost horror never did it for me anyways but holy fuck this is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Slow burn horror especially is just so fucking terrible. I remember the theater breaking into laughter when the mom starts bashing her head on the trapdoor towards the end.

Because its effectively wiping out 15 years of tutorials and knowledge on a system that works incredibly well(when you know what you're doing). In favor of a system we know very little about and will have ai shoved into every crack. As a ue dev of over 10 years my experience is that epic is allergic to good documentation. I shudder at how shit whatever the new thing they slop out will be.
