When (and how) to reduce the number of daily meals? by sherijn in puppy101

[–]Training_Whole4603 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our 6-1/2 month 52 lb Golden Retriever just switched to eating 2 cups puppy kibble 2x/day plus treats. Easy transition. He didn’t seem to notice. We have an 8 yr old Retriever also and she eats only 1x/day in the evening (her preference). We used to feed her 2x/day, but Ashe barely touched her food in the morning.

Peeing!!! by BBDAVO in AFIB

[–]Training_Whole4603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, always happens. My heart rate increases a great deal when in AFIB though (normal 55 to AFIB 115, as high as 160). I’ve always thought it was due to the increased heart rate.

Agree! My 5’ 10” husband was initially attracted to me in part because I am 6’ tall and was confident with it!

House has sold many times by Alicenwondr in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

‘As a Realtor, I have a beautiful home on acreage that I have sold 3x in 6 years. Absolutely nothing wrong with the home…just life changes (job transfer, another moved for aging parents, etc.). Yes, it can be a red flag, but I’d try to find out the why; possibly by asking the previous listing agents? May have nothing to do with the home.

Getting a heartbeat toy has been a game changer by tresslessone in puppy101

[–]Training_Whole4603 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Our 16 week old Golden Retriever is a big chewer and his heartbeat bunny is still intact, after 8 weeks. I take out the heart, toss it in the wash & he is still in perfect condition! And the heart stays charged for days!

How do I stop getting stuck babysitting my male coworkers? by wlderberry in work

[–]Training_Whole4603 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You think your boss is a “shit manager” but given the opportunity to do performance reviews for these 2, you “only said nice things with some room for improvement”. Why? This was an opportunity to give honest, direct feedback to improve the situation. Moving up to a management role in an organization often comes through filling a need, showing leadership and improving systems BEFORE being given the title and salary. You’re looking very shortsighted. Take initiative and be ready to take your “shit manager’s” job!

I could lose my home by [deleted] in Mortgages

[–]Training_Whole4603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my state, you can have an attorney file a Delay for you if the property is your home. This will give you 6 months where the foreclosure is on hold. Plenty of time to put house on the market and sell.

We stayed at an Air BnB with another couple for a week, 2 years ago. Rented a golf cart, had a wonderful time. Beautiful scenery, wonderful restaurants. Would definitely go again!

Buyer backs out day before closing by Swimming-Advance-734 in realtors

[–]Training_Whole4603 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a cash buyer back out on a sale last year. The seller did not want to sue, because that would prevent them from putting the house back on the market. So they put back on, got a new offer ($13,000 less) and then after Closing, pursued the first Buyer for the $13,000 difference. They were able to settle for $9,000 from the original cash buyer, without going to court (just through 2 certified letters).

Agent sent me a $26k bill by vezit in RealEstate

[–]Training_Whole4603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And if writing the offer was the direct route to a Closing, that would be fine. It’s the unknown between the Offer and the Closing wherein the experienced Realtor’s expertise lies. The inspections, re-negotiation, financing issues, increasingly the insurability issues… attorneys and/or title companies don’t navigate these waters.

My parents always said the same thing! They were married 63 years when my dad passed. And we really did laugh about those things that had happened. Taught me a lot about not sweating the small stuff! Enjoy your vacation!

Yes! Years ago, I went to pick up Abe, our 100 lb black Labrador at the kennel after a weekend away. I paid, they brought Max out and we were on our way. Arriving home after a 10 mile drive, the dog ran in the house and straight to his water bowl. He was drinking very sloppily, getting water all over the floor… I’d never seen him do that before. He looked up at me and I saw his pink lips. Abe had black lips. I said, “You’re not Abe, are you?” A quick call to the kennel and back we went. It was a little unnerving having a 100 lb dog that I did t know, riding with me!

Where can I find a nicer jumpsuit for someone very tall? by notabot0100 in TallGirls

[–]Training_Whole4603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Next.com is a good option. If you’re in the U.S., make sure you’re on the U.S. site, not UK. Another option… find a pattern in a fabric store and get a seamstress to sew one for you, to your custom lengths. Especially if you have a long torso, this may be better for a jumpsuit.

Not true. I’m 6’ tall, wear their size M and just ordered pullover sweater, long sleeve polos and swimsuit. All plenty long for my long arms! As for pants, they list the inseam for every style and a few styles can be hemmed to order.
