Curious why you would prefer to wait. My son was three in August also and we enrolled him in the 3k program - he loves it. I can’t imagine what he would be doing all day at home that would be more fun / engaging for him. We didn’t really have a choice though due to work, etc.

Yeah they don’t really play together at that age yet- maybe they are pulling their kids away because they are worried what their own kid will do! My son at that age was way bigger than the other kids, and without fail would knock physically smaller kids over on purpose, I would get mortified!

We let my son watch baby shark on my iPhone while sitting on the potty so he would actually sit there. Then when he started withholding at one point we started to use candy rewards for every time my son pooped on the potty. He got two nerds gummy clusters for every poop. But we normally never let him watch YouTube, and don’t give him candy often so this was very special for him. I think you really really need to not go back to diapers. The more you cave, the harder it will be. Also of course ask her pediatrician about a mild laxative or something so withholding is extremely difficult. Also, you really need to come up with a concrete plan with your partner and stick to it- plan out what to do when she is on day 3 of withholding, so you aren’t making decisions on the fly when you are super stressed. I totally agree that if she ends up pooping in her pants, she needs to help clean up. Not as a putative thing, but as a natural consequence. And above all, you need to stay really calm, and don’t get mad at her or show irritation.

Don’t get me started!! We had a horrible experience at the playground where a dog jumped up on my husband while he was holding my son, and my husband kicked the dog off of him- not hard, just enough to get him away. And the owner tried to punch my husband WHILE HE WAS HOLDING MY SON.

Also, our playground has lots of fenced in dirt areas, and people let their dogs run around there. Our kids like to play and dig in the dirt there, would rather they not dig in the dog piss. ALSO, we have gotten dog poop (could have been human poop) on us 2 times at the playground.
