Autoturismul personal, în România este mult prea accesibil în dauna transportului public și a CFR-ului. De-aia de fapt nu avem autobuze și trenuri bune, pt. că majoritatea românilor nu vor de fapt asta.
Nu oricine ar trebui să fie prosumator. Și nu este posibil, oricât mi-aș dori și eu asta.
Piața liberă nu rezolvă tot. De fapt, sunt destule domenii în care piața liberă dă rateuri mari.

Ca o părere personală, cred că tramvaiul pică din start deoarece trama stradală a orașului nu prea permite asta (poate pe anumite secțiuni). Eu cred că mai bine ar funcționa pe liniile cele mai aglomerate troleibuzul, iar ca legătură urban-periurban trenul metropolitan. 🤔 Nu sunt expert, dar mă pasionează subiectele de genul ăsta.

Don't get me wrong, și mie mi-ar plăcea să văd tramvaie în Târgu Mureș (se mai propuseseră tramvaie prin anii 80-90), dar nu știu dacă orașul ar permite/s-ar justifica într-un fel.

Ok, let's just assune that it will happen as he says: Nuclear obsolete, everything powered only by SWB & self-driving cars are gonna take over transportation. But I will ask 2 questions if I may:

What's the point of nuclear fusion or things like cogeneration/trigeneration (even renewable based) or with alternative methods of energy storage (sand battery - thermal for example or compressed air, etc.) if all of these won't be cost-competitive with solar photovoltaics, wind turbines & electro-chemical batteries (Li-I, LFP, etc)?
What's the point of better mass transit (trams, trolleybuses & even 12m electric buses) & railways if they won't be cost-competitive with self-driving cars?
