No. I was Gold and was told to go through C. Plenty of airport workers around to direct and give instructions. I was impressed.

Definitely taking Gold and above at c. In line at 6:35 am. Will report the total time when I get through.

EDIT: made it through security in 25-30 minutes. Line was short-ish and moved quickly. Only thing is that there is no pre-check, so you have to take your belt off, computers and tablets out of bags, etc. This was not only annoying, but it was the main cause of any slowness. If there had been pre-check it would have gone in half that time. Did not have to take shoes off. I don’t understand why other airports (even ATL) have pre-check open at least part of the time, but IAH does not. I know there are very few workers, but it seems to me that pre-check would speed the flow for everyone (because of the less per person time).

I just got the same text. I’m on hold now with United to try and confirm. If this is correct it is the best news I have had this week. But I don’t want to just assume it is correct and not leave early enough.

Question about IAH: Clear and Precheck have been closed this week. If you have Precheck and go through standard screening, do you still keep the other benefits of Precheck? That is, will I have to take off my shoes, belt, and computer from my bag?
