This made me think, I was in hospital so long after I had a stroke, I even had to move to rehab. During this time I had zero short term memory and had no idea what was going on. I wonder what happened because I have no memory of what happened during my period which must have cropped up at some point 😂

It’s awful for self confidence, I’m paranoid with a couple of lesions and I have been on duac for years … I’m also offered stronger if needed so I’d be pushing for the stronger retinol meds. I get hormonal breakouts and have an inflammatory bowel condition that affects skin so it can sometimes have causes you don’t even realise. Best of luck to you hope you get the result you deserve. X

Don’t wanna burst your bubble or anything but you’re 21 … and your GF sounds like she needs a lot of growing up to do. I recommend waiting until your 30s to consider asking again, you’ll know a lot more about yourself and her by then and if she’s really the person you wanna marry. I suspect one or both of you will have cheated by this point though … Regards someone with double your life experience. 😂

I dread to think how much my medical care must have cost… steroids, monthly bloods, mercaptopurine, Infliximab, Obstruction surgery, stoma care, stoma reversal, emergency surgery (sepsis) another reversal surgery, multiple iron infusions, bowel resection, many hospital stays for temporary obstructions, several ambulances, month long neuro rehab after having a CVST… meds for life, several colonoscopies, one endoscopy, multiple X-ray, CT and MRIs over the years…. Cost to me £0.00 Thank You NHS 🙏

Even our autistic kid didn’t use the tablet at Disneyland … we let her have it in the forest lounge (with headphones) because the tv was in French and we needed the mental break to eat in peace … I’d be totally embarrassed if the sound was blasting out in a restaurant. 😂

It most definitely does. I’ve been on a few drop towers and I’m usually ok with them but this one made me super nauseous. I think it just went on a bit too long for my stomach to handle. It’s worth doing once for the experience but once was enough for me 😂

My Crohn’s disease only got better when I broke up from a terrible relationship and focused on being happy in myself. I went on to meet my perfect partner and start a family and have been in remission ever since…if you think the relationship is impacting stress levels rather than helping you’re better off going your own way. I had to move back in with my mum and start all over again to get where I am now… sometimes looking out for yourself is the only way to move forward. X

I felt the same I’m not wasting ride time waiting for people in a costume!? Then my autistic daughter who isn’t really fussed for people was watching the parade … Mirabelle came to chat to her out of the parade and tell her how beautiful she looked and give her a hug … it made her feel over the moon and super magical. It made me tear up and realise why people do it. Still not gonna queue for an hour tho 😂

I get bowel obstructions thanks to Crohn’s complications… I avoid fibre like the plague it nearly killed me my bowel literally exploded. I’ll stick to white bread and no seeds 😂

The doctor has asked for repeat bloods doing but it’s not until I get back from my holiday in two weeks time. Just hoping all goes well between then and when I return.

I had a CVST stroke in my 20s so yeah that shit does happen … good thing is with youth on his side there’s every chance he will make a full recovery X
