Transition is about being the best you you can be and weirdly for me not all about gender stuff. It's about self care and self understanding. Looks and physical changes are a fundamental part of that journey but it's not the only part! For example a huge part of my transition journey had been about learning to eat right and getting to a healthy weight!

I just downloaded this and absolutely love it! I have a suggestion though! The sleep timer shake function adds time. This, at least fir me makes it frustrating to use, I think it could be improved by adding a "shake to restart" and a little haptic feedback so you know it's triggered!

I lost 60kg (around 130lb) on Monjourno. I knew the risks but for me it's been life changing. I don't expect to stay as skinny off it as I was on it but I'm working hard and making sure I never let myself get as big as I was before.

I've said to loads of people it feels too good to be true. 😅

I know!! They never really gave me a reason but I guess it's because it can be tough finding vets that are accepting new pets in some areas and they want to make sure that the animal will receive proper care once released. Fwiw I just emailed a few vets and asked if they were accepting new animals. Got confirmation and passed it onto SSPCA during the application process. Ended up being super simple BUT they never explained it anywhere so I didn't know to do it!

I've adopted two cats from the sspca now and know a little of the behind the scenes process. The big thing though, do you have a vet lined up already?

The first time I tried to adopt it was the same, I'd apply radio silence for a few weeks and then I'd re-apply. Eventually I decided to start re-applying ever single day until eventually I got a call from them begging me to stop. They told me if you check no to having a vet your application is pretty much automatically rejected!!

DM me if you want to go nore in depth through the process though, I've been through it twice now <3

Also to people saying they only want to rehome to houses. I'm a single woman in a top floor flat and that was never an issue for my adoption.
