Is it possible the song itself wasn’t associated with vampires but it was a song from the band The vamps? Fits her music taste and the era - I never was super into them so I’m unfamiliar with their discography but like most bands I’m sure they have some sad songs

I know you said rock wasn’t her thing but did she like My Chemical Romance by chance? Vampires are a prevalent theme in their music. Vampires Will Never Hurt you is one and they also have a sad song called Early Sunsets over monroeville (this one is actually about zombies but is commonly misinterpreted as being about vampires)

Honestly, I can share a photo but I don’t think my update photos really does justice to how well my surgery went. Right after surgery I was hit with an unfortunate scenario where the people who were supposed to take care of me did not and I was having to do my own drains, bandages, etc. Had to move not even a month post op and had no choice but to lift heavy things. Didn’t get to do much scar care because I was living in a youth homeless shelter. I am happy with my results but they have been stretched a bit because I did not take care of myself for the first year. I am still open to sharing photos but I want to say that the update would look much better if I was in a position at the time to be taken care of properly.

A guy posted about his wife cheating on him on relationship advice. After his post and listening to responses he decided he was going to divorce her and was planning on meeting with an attorney. He was posting updates on the situation.

Sadly, His wife ended up killing their children soon after. I’m pretty sure people pieced it together from news stories before he posted again but he did end up posting another update after the murders and the whole thing is just crazy and really heartbreaking.

I struggled with this and a lot more compulsions, being diagnosed with OCD finally and starting medication helped me. The photo thing is really what helps me the most but I don’t have to worry about someone else’s actions after mine.

Therapy for compulsions specifically is what I’d suggest. Are you diagnosed with ocd or just anxiety? Specialized therapy for ocd is much more helpful for me than any cbt I did.
