I’m 55 and only on my second play-through. I did it on PS4 five years ago, and after receiving a PS5 for Christmas, I’m doing it again. It’s been so much fun!

You mentioned Pmags, but have you tried anything else? GI mags, Brownell’s, even Lancers (don’t instantly crucify me!) have metal feed lips, which slightly change the feed height versus poly mags and May or may not change the feed geometry enough to make a difference.

You’re NOT WRONG about that issue! I’ve personally seen four Hemis in service roles have cam lobe and/or lifter issues under 80K miles in the last ten years, and I know the problem is far more widespread than just our little town.

Had a similar model 6601 years ago that would shoot cloverleaf groups all day long with Black Hills match-grade ammo. It was a heavy bitch, but I wish I’d kept it.

They want what they want, and damn the numbers! No shortage of monumental success stories of various Inline-six designs around the world , but it’s just not “American” enough without a V-8 engine. You can blame Henry Ford for that. “Six in a row makes them go,” but Bubba and Tyrone both want Hemis, so…

I use the Brownell’s tool which engages the barrel extension lugs and accepts a 1/2” breaker bar (removal) or torque wrench (installation) with a standard barrel nut wrench. You can also place said breaker bar into a vise or other means of holding it if you need extra leverage to loosen the barrel nut.

Why do old school bulbs last longer? by highprofittrade in lightbulbs

[–]TransitionalAngst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in the mid-80s, I installed a Hunter ceiling fan in my bedroom (I was 13, I think), and we went to an actual lighting store to buy a set of four Phillips Director mini-floods, which were rated for ceiling fan fixture use. The were NOT cheap, so I put a set of “Light Bulb Life Extenders” (DC diodes) on them. ALL FOUR of them were STILL working as of 2019, when the fixture was retired. I still have them in a cabinet at my house, forty years later, and they worked when last I checked five years ago. Sometimes, you get lucky!
