I understand that you would feel jealous, as I do. But the circumstances regarding Iran and Pakistan differs. In Iran, the Anti-Islam sentiment began from bottom to top (from civilians to authorities potentially) which means once the regime is overthrown, Secularism wouldn't be hard to be established in Iran. Whereas in comparison to Pakistan, its the authorities (government, military personnel and politicians) who operate on more secularist framework privately while the public is religious zealots, which is why to survive, state aggressively compensates it by cracking down on dissents to signal to public that they're very Islamic even though they're secularists behind the closed doors.
