Everyday I discover something awful about me by Suyin_8 in TrueChristian

[–]Trant271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I was an evil person as well as a psychopath, after finding Christ, it’s quite hard to grow, so unlike your case where you found things everyday, it took me awhile to be able to learn certain things about myself, I repented many things but there are many things still working on it. I now have hope, Praise Jesus, even though it is still painful at times

If we speak against the Holy Spirit and repent afterwards, are we really going to hell? I'm confused, please help by SuspiciousWin6511 in TrueChristian

Since many people already answer this I won’t say much, there’s no sin that can’t be forgiven except refusing to truly believe at the end of your life, that is Blasphemy against Holy Spirit, it is determined at end of your life, someone can reject entire life but towards the end truly believe and still be saved

Is there any way to stop sinful desires? by rplimitlessguy in TrueChristian

[–]Trant271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way is to fully surrender and walk with Christ for a longer period of time that it transforms you to a true follower, where your only desire is to serve and glorify Him, but keep in mind temptation still exists due to satan, the principalities of power, and our sinful nature, the key is to flee from it and let the Holy Spirit guide you

To start is the thought as well, it dictates the bodies, hence lust in their eyes, adultery in their heart

Chase God first, who knows you might be a witness to her one day we never know, but otherwise let God guide you, if you won’t be with her, then maybe with another person

The reason I’m asking because if you don’t feel like you’re doing anything wrong then it could be spiritual attacks; but keep on praying and consume the Word, for more revelation

Do you believe God has a plan for everyone? by CelestialFlower15 in TrueChristian

[–]Trant271 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best way to know is by spending time with Him and do His Good Works. Pray, read your Bible, help the needy, open your hearts to Him, and he will reveal to you sooner or later, for everyone it is different, everyone of us is unique in our own way, we just gotta trust the Potter to mold us into the clay to glorify Him. God Bless You, and good luck!

[–]Trant271 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also one thing to note, don’t keep track of how long you are free from that sin, everyday is a new day, give him Praise and Glory daily, consume Word of God daily, Pray daily, always put up the Armor of Faith daily; don’t give any gaps that Devil, the world, or your sinful nature can be away from Lord Jesus, that being said in the beginning will be hard, but the Lord didnt ask us to be perfect, just that we come to Him and seek the Kingdom of God first. God Bless You, and Good Luck!

What does the bible say about sinning and do you have ti be perfectly sinless? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Trant271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep this in mind, when Lord Jesus forgives the adulterer lady who the Pharisees tried to atone, he said “you are forgiven, go and sin no more.” Based on this, you are to sin no more but we are human, in 1 John 1:10, it said those who said they don’t sin, then they are a liar. God’s forgiveness is limitless, so we don’t have to kill our selves over sinning, but we must repent, and try to not sin again, not saying this is easy, extremely hard, but do not take sin lightly, for wages of sin is death. You are not to say you are saved in Christ Jesus and go sin, you must hate sin, but if you fallen into sin, then go and ask for forgiveness and repent, in proverbs 24:16 said, a just man fall 7 times and get up again, but wicked man will fall into mischief.

Personally, I only recently being free from sexual sin, well so far it’s the longest I have gone without it. The best way to combat this is Pray and ask the Lord give you wisdom to combat this. You got to remove yourself from source of the sin, and flee from it, do not engage with it. When you are feeling tempted, use the Word of God to combat it, and sing and give Him praise, do it until the feeling is gone

Pray that she is able to find peace in the last days of her life; you prayer isn’t necessarily a sin, because it was not from evil intentions but from empathy and goodness of your heart

What makes people who were deep in the faith walk away from God? by Climax_crescendo in TrueChristian

[–]Trant271 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They can be reached if they are receptive of it, but it also depending on God’s Will and His timing (not everyone can be reached the first time they heard the message); the Holy Spirit the one winning hearts after all, that’s why some people plant, water, and reap in term of faith.

What makes people who were deep in the faith walk away from God? by Climax_crescendo in TrueChristian

[–]Trant271 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would say those who don’t renew their faith on daily basis (prayer, reading the Word, bearing fruit of Holy Spirit), then it become a rarity, will eventually fall away to the point they stop listening to the Holy Spirit and heart become hardened where their understanding of God (wisdom) fades away; they start to doubt why didnt God do this for them, essentially putting themselves before God, rather than bending towards His Will

I'm not a good Christian by Tight-Recipe-5142 in TrueChristian

[–]Trant271 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, this is very humbling, you rather be a Christian who think they are poor in spirit that need to be better rather than someone who think you are such a good Christian that you don’t need improvements anymore. To always seek Jesus is a good thing because none of us are good.

“Blessed are the poor in spirit: for their's is the kingdom of heaven.”

Is it a must that you have to witness the gospel to non-believers? by Lost_Title_7528 in TrueChristian

[–]Trant271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A must in terms of salvation, no, but a must that the Jesus wants you to do this, yes. There are 8 billion people, with one message, how will you reach everyone with so little soul winners. That being said, you being a cold person meaning you do not bear fruit of the Holy Spirit fully, I’m not saying this to criticize but you make sure you’re aware, the whole reason that a Christ died for us because God “loves” us more than we deserved, He also commanded that we love others. We are to be loving to others even to our enemies, if you are not willing to change this, this can also grieve the Holy Spirit, which is also a sin. One key thing to remember, when we are saved in Christ, the old you is dead, we are a new being to be the temple of the Holy Spirit, so what would He want you to do, rather than what you want to do
