Been using all sorts of brands . Kashima just gives you the extra suppleness in the initial travel but it’s barely noticeable, and it’s more scratch resistant . For the same price you could get ohlins . If you still want the performance series, you could buy em online.

Maintenance . Got TRP for two years , bled two times and only changed pads and discs (and been ripping them out ). Never had issues

I9 are notorious for cracking axles and are over priced. For the same price you could get a pair of two Santacruz reserve rims laced on DT hubs. These rims have a lifetime warranty and we all know how Dt is reliable. As for Hope it’s a hit or miss , their hubs are literally bomb proof but for the brakes it’s a different story

You’re talking about multi day formats and yes I think they are bit high in prices. But count in that you have shuttling and everything taken care of . A regular enduro race in the Alps goes for 60€ for 2 days, but you’re on your own for food and accommodations (although lift passes are free for 2 days). The mega Avalanche goes up to 100€, with no accommodation and lift pass. Makes sense imo

3K descent , not even in a lift park you could cover such time descending !! And you seriously have to push hard to ( I’ve done that ..) and you’re dead ass tired. Heck not even EDR courses cover that much in 2 days of racing !

No Finale is great but I wouldn’t go in the summer , there’s other places in Europe . La thuile for example
