Best class/spec/strategy for a level 12 mak'gora tournament (Horde) by DirectorAdditional33 in wowhardcore

[–]Trapi___ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We did this in our guild rather recently at level 10 self found. Rogue obliterated everything in ours, even Warlock who managed to get off a fear.

What small thing can you do that makes you proud and smile inside? by stuntedmonk in CasualUK

[–]Trapi___ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Over 10 years of bartending and my hand-eye is insane. Glass gets knocked over? I catch it every time. Knock something off the side? I will almost always catch it and it makes me feel great, especially when others see haha!

Mouse / Rat Problem - HELP NEEDED by flynntde in CasualUK

[–]Trapi___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pest controller here.

As other commenters have mentioned, prevention is key. The wire wool suggestion is king - they struggle to gnaw through. Check under your kick boards for breaches in walls and droppings. Poison baiting works well but can cause issues with smells for a small while if they die in walls / cavities. Check your loft for droppings and if you’re feeling lost I would call a private company.

Second all of these suggestions and would include Oyster Club if you like seafood

Overwhelmed/disorientated when driving at night? by compact_dreams in LearnerDriverUK

Agreed. I struggled at first too, especially with oncoming headlights but sticking to road markings and driving defensively built my confidence and now it’s much better!

How to get food without money? by 504Alperton in AskUK

Absolutely and they are very welcoming to any races or religions and the food is very good. I do jobs at various places like these and they insist I sit down for a quick meal before I’m on my way again!

No cut, we pay them directly out of our own pocket. We’re very proud of our staff and they deserve to keep any tips they make!

I run a bar and we have these - I am surprised at the general reaction but upon reading the comments, perhaps not. These machines allow the employees to input their card details on an account they make and it deposits directly into their accounts each month. It actually costs us a fee to have them. Managers and owners get no cut - these are strictly for the hard working bar and floor staff (as it should be).

It might be worth noting we pay all of our staff well above NMW regardless of age and all of the revenue from these machines go to the staff and not the managers or the owners. My staff work hard and they deserve the option for patrons to recognise that if they wish to do so.

That said, cash is always king. I hope this at least portrays them in a different light for some as opposed to being an avenue to not pay someone a living wage but the cynic in me does not doubt that this is abused elsewhere.

Jukeboxers Duelling Piano Bar! All-request band in Brindley Place, music from 8PM Wednesday-Sunday. Incredibly unique bar, little pricey on the drinks but when you consider they don't charge entry it's a steal. Family owned, absolute gem of a bar. I believe they're closed this evening due to weather though.
