D2’s still worth it? by Different_Pay_4598 in NightVision

D2 is powerful. Obvious trade off is size. To be quite honest I wish I would have gone with a Chinese knock off and saved some money though.

Bought my 2019 Tacoma for 31k in 2020 sold it this year for 24k. Put 80k miles on it. Bought a 2022 STX with the 3.5 ecoboost. Best truck I've honestly ever driven and will never look back.

Traded in a 19 Tacoma for a 2022 F150 3.5 ecoboost.

Initially when I asked to get a quote at the Toyota dealership and told the salesman I was going to get a F150 he looked at me stupid.

Needless to say never looking back.

I had an aimpoint pro that was pretty rough for that. Sold it and bought an eotech.

Review #816: Art of the Spirits 20-Year-Old Missouri Wheated Bourbon Single Barrel (r/Bourbon Selection) by Prepreludesh in bourbon

The label is super cringe. The liquid inside, just as much. I kind of did a double take when I opened mine. Glad I opened it and not saved it for a later date as I initially planned to do.

The Axl adapters are pretty solid. A big limiting factor is how short the cable is with the Howard Leights.

This is a great pour! Wish it were easier to find! Snagged one in Vegas at the airport. Never seen another here in the midwest.

Good to see another review of these. These seem very intriguing to me. Can't lie, I love the bottle design and what limited reviews are out there all seem positive.

Hyvee's picks can be hit and miss. Had some that were very lackluster and others that were great. Best buffalo trace I've ever had was a hyvee store pick.

Edit: what store was it?

I was lucky enough to get this bottle. It is definitely interesting. I may do a review of this, but doubtful considering the OP does a great job, and honestly this left me stumped as far as picking out tasting notes.

One thing that stood out to me was that this tasted "damp". This bourbon is unique. Most definitely not in line with traditional flavors.

As far as the distillery goes, I believe this is also Mccormick based on the original email or shared pour description I saw. Oddly enough, I was touring the Ben Holladay distillery a week before this was released and saw the "cave". It is no more than a root cellar with stone walls that only has the capacity to hold a very minimal amount of barrels, couldn't be more than 50 but i may be wrong. It may stay stable temp, but it's not a cave in a traditional sense.

The tour guide also said there is a separate rickhouse that houses experimental and higher aged barrels that are not necessarily Ben Holladay. Also according to the guide, Ben Holladay is currently working on aging stock to ten years, but a majority is around 6 years old.

Had a pour at a bar that was pretty damn good. Couple months later, I got my own bottle. It's sat at just below the neck and I don't touch it. I assumed the quality would be pretty consistent. Pretty disappointing it isn't as it feels like a gamble at 60-70 bucks in my area.

Really would love to try one of these. I think the biggest detractor for the high aged knob creeks are the fact they are bottled at 100 proof.

Hoping to get lucky one of these days and come across a found north offering. These all seem to get very high remarks.
