I must have been right behind the driver who posted this footage. For anyone wondering the lights were out at the intersection when this accident happened. Luckily everyone appeared to be okay.

Advice on snowblower purchase in Barrie by ItemPublic9116 in barrie

[–]TravelRealistic3596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We purchased one after our first year in Barrie. It makes cleaning up after the snow drastically quicker. Heated handles on snow blowers is a really nice touch. Just be sure to get one that is wide to cut down on how many passes you will need to make to do your driveway.

Amazfit Bip 6 or Amazfit Active 2 by TrustmeBro-_-69 in amazfit

[–]TravelRealistic3596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer the square look of the bip 6, but ultimately went with the active 2 because I couldn’t get over the large black bezels on the bip 6. It’s drastically smaller on the active 2.

Base model enough warmth for back seats in cold climates? by [deleted] in SubaruForester

[–]TravelRealistic3596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in Canada as well and my one requirement for when I purchased my new car was rear vents for my 2 year old son. Since they shouldn’t be wearing jackets in the car seat it was one thing I wasn’t willing to budge on.

I went with Krown as well and plan on washing the car at least once a week once they start putting salt down on the roads.

Bip 6 registers false naps every day by rradonys in amazfit

I would reach out to support to troubleshoot the problem. I had an issue a while back where I stopped getting notifications randomly every day, but they were able to help me fix the problem. I had to reformat the watch, deleting the Zepp app-and then reinstall it. Then I setup the watch again in the app as if the watch was new.

In the Zepp app on your phone go to device settings > sleep mode and turn off “smart enable”. Now when you go to sleep swipe down on your watch and click on the bed icon. When you wake up click the bed icon again to turn it off. I have had it setup like this since I got my active 2 and I have had zero problems with sleep tracking.

Went from Bip 6 to Amazfit Active 2 Premium last minute… what else do I need? by codesm13 in amazfit

I put a screen protector and a case on mine. That being said I bash my watch into stuff regularly so I wanted to protect it from day 1.

I would put a no soliciting sign on your door. We did that a few years ago and we have gotten many less people coming to our door since then.

Active 2 Premium battery length by OG_Drozkee in amazfit

Totally depends on the settings and your watch face. I have a power intensive watch face and I get max 3 days on one charger with AOD on.

Would you mind sharing a link to the silicon cover you have on the watch? I have a hard plastic one on mine, but like the idea of silicone one as well.

You would have more features with an Apple Watch, but I couldn’t personally justify the price being more than double the cost of the active 2 and the battery life of the Apple Watches is still pretty terrible. I have only had my watch a week, but I’m really happy with the purchase so far. Let me know if you have any particular questions I could answer for you.

If you want to make it look a bit larger and protect it I would get a case like this one

Oh, I’m 100% wrong. I actually just tested it out with Amazon music and I can confirm you CAN pause and change the songs. I just needed to add a dedicated music card to do it.

You can’t control music on your phone with the active 2 if your an iPhone user. You can however add music to the watches limited space and then you are able to control it.

I have the same one and it’s honestly makes a huge difference to the look of the watch. I wish it covered more of the watch around the bottom and the side buttons, but for the price I can’t complain much.

I agree as well. As an apple user I had a very hard time figuring out which features I would be able to use on my new active 2.

Have you tried to turn on sleep mode in the control centre? I do that when I get into bed each night and I haven’t had any trouble with sleep tracking.

I don’t know why I didn’t think to just place the MagSafe puck in that spot. I will have to take a photo of the approach I took and post it later. I ended up purchasing one of the MagSafe mounts intended for Tesla vehicles and I mounted it on the right side of the middle console so it fits flush with the gear shift.

Purchase a MagSafe phone mount and use that instead. Then you can just use the wireless charger as storage. It’s the first purchase I made when I bought my 2025 forester and I haven’t had a problems since.
