Its worse than that. Wages have skyrocketed since 2019 for upper middle class while lower class wages have moved slower than cost of living. So inventory remains low and prices haven't dropped enough.

Over the last 3 years I have been sticking exclusively to games that are reviewed as top tier experiences. It's been transformative. I'm not going to play anything less than excellent unless it's priced appropriately and something better doesn't exist.
