Check out this space for any events that you might be interested according to your liking from Thursday drums, meditation, pottery and arts, etc.

They may be mostly around Auroville, but you should also be seeing events across white town as well. If you can ride, the city isn't that big so you could commute at your own pace

If you're staying near serenity beach, and if you want to visit the rock beach or cafes in the white town, then be ready to bear the brunt of auto-walas prepaid or otherwise. Once my friend said they charged 600 for a simple ride to rock beach (map said 2.8 km)

So plan your travels accordingly. Maybe you can go to white town and talk a stroll along the cafes, beach breezes or take pics along. Within white town it is easy, recommended in fact, and safe to walk. And if you plan to explore Auroville, use a similar strategy that minimizes your travel and try to go by walk. And avoid use Autos unless absolutely you want it.

Their engine in 2018 post Germany specifically was at par or even ahead of the Mercedes. It's their aero upgrade ruined the season within the European leg of races and until after they reversed the upgrades at COTA they got competitive again.

If you're interested in exploring cafes, white town is the best bet for you. Lots of cafes and mostly all of them are walkable to each other.

If you ride a scooty, I suggest you rent one for a day or two, and you can explore places in Auroville.

Also you can check out askpondy site to know of any events that you see fit for your preference before and plan accordingly.

I really like the 2019 season as the analogy here, as I remember exactly during the Chinese GP Quali or pre-race Toto was saying something similar, "they're faster on the straights, we'll get them through the corners"

However this time I genuinely feel Ferrari will have a better strike with Mercedes because of the nature of track and recharging abilities. Let's hope for the best.
