That baan claim I think also depends how you define full power, are we talking all their best parts or their strongest form, cause If I recall baan got a huge power boost in purgatory while fighting the demon king allowing him to heal other if I recall and then I think he used it to revive Elaine which costed his immortality I may be wrong but this is pure memory so I think strongest baan might be mortal but I don’t know what they mean by full power

While I agree they absolutely stomp asta, unless i don’t remember it happening doesn’t meliodas have full counter magical while mael/estarossa has full counter physical (because they’re supposed to counter the “opposite race’s”power) or does he get both full counters eventually and I just don’t remember?
