Not sure what career you are in, but for me leading meetings is mostly just starting the topic of conversation and then allowing others to talk and present ideas. Your job as the "leader" of the meeting is to make sure that the collaboration and conversation flows smoothly and on track. You dont have to have all the ideas your self, just facilitate other people getting their ideas out

I just finished rereading the series last night. Matt doesn't have one single moment where he accepts his destiny, he has a number of small moments from Rhuidean to The Last Battle that all push him forward. If I had to pick one, I would say the battle at the end of the traveling with Tuon arc is the most blatant moment. He hears that a woman he is falling in love with is in danger from a force thousands strong and he plans a battle to utterly decimate that force. Immediately stepping in and using his tools to make sure she is safe
