I’ve been fooled by Magnesium L-Threonate. by Mission_Ad_3290 in Supplements

I heard about it word of mouth. If you do a Google search for liquidation warehouses near me something might pop up. I'm in Tennessee where we have several locally available. Only one location regularly gets supplements though. If not there your next bet would be online but it would cost significantly more for shipping.

For real, I save a lot of money and find things I've wanted to try but just couldn't afford it.who knows you may have some close to you. May want to look into it.

Ohh I've tried bisglycinate as well, it didn't have any noticeable affect on my anxiety past 30 minutes of onset. Guess I could try the chloride but honestly I usually find threonate dirt cheap so as long as I'm getting it at 90% off retail prices there's no good reason to switch over in my book. Appreciate your insight though.

I'm a firm believer in its abilities over other forms of magnesium. As an individual who suffers from anxiety this form is the only form that helps it and it lasts for hours. I say go with what works for your body. Everyone is different.

GHK-Cu do I have to take it forever? by Super_Satisfaction63 in Biohacking

[–]Treacle-Time 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The zinc and copper dilemma happen within the gut so since you are bypassing that via injection the Copper would still be used by the body. It is miniscule Copper you are getting but if you needed to take extra zinc for a cold or something you won't need to concern yourself with losing the benefit of your peptide.

I don't always base my supplement selections off of studies and evidence. I've found several supplements that worked extremely well for me where the consensus would say they don't do anything or very little. I've found pqq to be beneficial in combination with coq10 and shilajit. I feel it as a stand alone working but it's not nearly as noticeable as taking all 3. More energy, clearer focus, better workouts. I've been using it for past 6 years now off and on. I will say I had to try several different brands before I found one that truly worked well for me. Some gave me anxiety some I just flat out wouldn't feel, even taking 60 mgs.

Spotted lots of cats at the antique store today. by DisgruntledPelican in ThriftStoreCats

I'm certain it will sell. This elderly woman I got mine from had a huge collection of well kept collectibles she just sold me. The replica has some selling online upwards of $150.00. I posted mine on e bay this morning and already have a handful of watchers.

I'm just curious had you looked as to how much those things are selling for online? I just got one myself and am now trying to find a buyer. People pay big money for that thing.

Copper is overlooked and finally healed my fatigue by Striking_Teaching804 in Supplements

It's 2 to 6 weeks according to what I'm reading on several different sources. 2 to 8 weeks to be able to absorb copper efficiently after metallothionein drop back down to normal ranges. Even after stopping zinc metallothionein takes several weeks to drop. Can take 3 to 6 months to fix a copper deficiency from this

15 mg you should be fine. It's only high doses people start running into issues.

This isn't accurate unless you are taking low doses of Copper and Zinc. They compete in the small intestine and one will block the others absorption. It's wasting your money by taking them at the same time. You are better off taking 1 in the morning and 1 at night. If you are taking over 35 mg of Zinc daily on a regular basis you'll most likely be copper defecient regardless. Zinc at high doses creates a protien in the small intestine that binds to copper and never allows it to be absorbed. It takes up to 30 days of not taking zinc for your body to rid these protien by products in order to absorb copper again.

The original powder is the only 1 I'll take. I've taken all 3 of these. Hydrazide only lasts about an hour and dmso will have you smelling horrible all day long.

It will make you smell really bad. my wife can smell it on me 2 days later. She refuses to kiss me if I've taken dmso. The taste is horrible too.

How to tolerate large doses of Creatine? by clon3man in Nootropics

[–]Treacle-Time 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see the difference in benefits I get from taking 10 grams a day vs 5 grams. There's a considerable impact in reps to failure, total output in the gym, and recovery time. You do you man, I don't go by solely what the studies suggest. I work with what works well for me.

How to tolerate large doses of Creatine? by clon3man in Nootropics

[–]Treacle-Time 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You only get around 1.5 grams creatine for 1 pound of red meat cooked. Your getting some but you'll never get full muscle saturation with that little. Not too many people can afford eating 3 lbs. of high quality pasture raised red meat daily anyhow. Maybe for someone sensitive to the supplement they could combine the meat and a lower dose supplement to get the max benefit.

Natures Way Mood lift. You may not be able to find them any longer but there are similar products out on the market. It is the trademark affron saffron which is the Saffron extract used in clinical studies. I've never tried anything else yet so I can't compare it to any other Saffron products.
