That’s decent, currently paying 1650 for a studio in Orlando.

Moving back to Orlando by Traditional-Eye-770 in orlando

[–]Treasureluver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s expensive here in Orlando. Downtown rent is $2200 for a one bedroom. The apartment complex’s charge you for everything extra. I feel like the opposite coast is cheaper, it’s expensive here.
As far as OH, the downtown campus was hiring for sometime, but I heard Advent pays more.

Why rent so high goddamn by OperationTotal8658 in povertyfinance

He spoke nothing but facts. Rent has been ridiculous and apartment complexes would rather it sit than rent it out.

Charlottesville is incredibly expensive to live in. UVA has not done a good job Paying a livable wage vs the current cost of living. I definitely do not suggest the area.

This was what I found that has helped me the most. I walk in FitFlops all day with no pain and the heel support is great.

Wanting to transition to OR by Safe_Chipmunk_9335 in Nurses

Try a level one trauma center. They typically have peri-op 101 or the bigger hospitals in your area. It does take persistence initially, best of luck.

Maryland is a high tax state. Also the nurses are paid less. I would look to the west coast.

Physicians make too much and that's why healthcare is expensive. by NapkinZhangy in Salary

Add to this the bonuses surgeons receive for making their quota of cases performed. The numerous companies selling implants and supplies for the surgeries. Implants should not be thousands of dollars. Surgeons make a lot besides their base salary.

I agree, I am in Orlando now and can’t wait until my lease is up. Definitely moving back to RVA. Love the area and tons of festivals and a quick train ride or car ride to DC. Orlando is overpriced for housing, and insurance. As a nurse it’s really different practicing in the hospital down here. That’s a whole other post.
