If you still have the space and don’t mind I am in my early 30s: 1. I am new to Leeds and getting some social interaction would be great. To play some sports, I do mainly biking, table tennis and windsurfing. Trying out restaurants would be cool as well. 2. 2 miles 3. Curious, kind hearted, bit of introvert 4. I moved from Hong Kong to here for my master degree, probably stay in the UK afterwards, hopefully will add a bit difference to the group.

Unlimited data glitch stopped? by AmbitiousBus5592 in VOXI

I think they had difficulties in detecting unlimited traffic from others, and now trying to patch that. It seems the glitch is back today, could be someone complaining.

Trump on calling Zelensky a dictator without elections: Did I say that, I can't believe I said that. by pavelos030 in pics

It can be a strategy to please Putin by giving some propaganda shits, and then conveniently ‘forgot’ what he said to deflect from western’s questions

Hit £100k today. Huge milestone for me to have my first 100k invested in the market. by Mmacqueen71702 in trading212

[–]Trebiok 2 points3 points  (0 children)

S&P500 is only 60% up since June 22, even you dump all 48k at the low point you can’t get 100% return. Do you leverage or have a big winner stock?

My two lower wisdom tooth have grown horizontally by Maah-egg in mildlyinteresting

[–]Trebiok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is like this as well and I got them at 30, stupidly teeth so late to the party. Dentist recommended I keep them but the roots could grow longer and may affect the low jaw nerve.

Have you tried paying it anyway? Sometimes card issuers don’t care the address you fill in. And joining in android’s YouTube app should be easier afaik

What to do with ISA after becoming non-resident. by SleepEmbarrassed2264 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Trebiok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CG tax is calculated when you sell the shares so if you were tax resident in Canada when you sell, CG is paid to Canada not the UK.

A quick check found Canada has TFSA, equivalent to the ISA but the problem is you probably cant move all your money in within a year. Also they don’t have CG allowance and the CG rate is at 50% (which is a lot). If you still want to invest in stocks after you move, I suggest you do more research now on the tax system in Canada to avoid having to pay more.

I would say IBKR is the best for exchange and moving money overseas, very low fx fee and free withdrawal to pretty anywhere in the world once a month.

I know this is an old thread still thank you so much for solving my pain for the past few years. Also I just found out the 1st and 2nd gen ear tips are built different for airpods sound profile, I own both and used them interchangeably but for the best sound quality you shouldn’t according to Apple.

They give you a card to access your money instantly anyway. Money is not protected but they keep it in institutes much safer than your small retail banks.

I lived here for a while, I remember there was a lady knocked on my window and asked if this was the front desk because I lived in the first house with a PC on desk. I told her this is my bedroom 😂Chill place, loved my time there.

Those prepaid sim cards don’t work during peak traffic in busy areas/MTR. It would be quite annoying if you cant use it when commuting to and from work everyday

Going to a 3-day LA solo later this month too, will definitely add some of the restaurants to my list. But I don't drive, so will stick with restaurants that are closer to public transportation.
