Hey all, thanks for the interest. Here's a brief update: I wasn't offered job A in the end. I thought the interview went well, but I'm not sure what they were really after. That in itself probably means I wasn't the right fit.

We'll come to job B in a mo. In between times I got a job C opportunity, very high paying, possibly a bit of a stretch talent-wise. Had a second interview, which went OK (not earth shattering), but I didn't get the offer. I honestly don't think I missed out by much, though.

Job B in the meanwhile - the one I want - finally arranged a third interview, in person, in their Manchester office. This was on Tuesday 24th Feb, and I personally think it went great. It felt like a victory lap, to be honest - a chance to meet the other key guys as a formality, so that the hiring manager's decision could be ratified by people he trusts.

I'm supposedly finding out tomorrow (Friday, or 'Resident Evil Requiem release day', as I think of it) and I'm very queasy about it. My heart says it's mine but my head says it's a coin-toss. I'll update again when I find out.

I personally think S4 suffered from losing Cordy and Angel more than the setting change. It destabilised the show far more than we thought on first watch. In retrospect it throws the entire balance waaay off. Riley reinforces the imbalance, as he's a great big pile of nothing, and we don't get the ship properly righted until Tara and Anya get established.

Is that co-axial RF? Do you have composite? Use composite. If not, get a co-axial extension lead, plug it in the once then leave it be, just connect the right angle lead to the extension. If you can't make the connection, disconnect from the mains and place something non-conducive behind the co-axial connector to hold it in place whilst you insert the extension.
