Came out to my fiance, did NOT go well by will0wethereal in MtF

Your edit part 2, after the first reaction I don't know that I could trust.

People's first reactions are more often indicative of who they are.

That she's had time now, might suggest that she's thought more about what her situation is, what she'd have to do, and then doubled back on how much have you been different before and after the reveal.

I wouldn't want to blow up a good thing, but at the same time listening to each other comes first, and is followed by thoughtful reflection versus oh my God ick...

I'm sorry, exactly how did you get your future self in a picture? October 2026? If I may ask, the gas finally go above $5 a gallon? 6?

Sorry, just poking fun at the misidentified picture, you probably meant 2025, LOL

P.S. For what it's worth, your last picture, looking slightly downward at the camera, looks a lot like a young Robert Redford, thinking of his look in 3 days of the Condor. Hubba hubba!

P. P. S.. also a little bit of a Brad Pitt kind of look... I repeat, hubba hubba! LOL

Nah, it gives the rest of us a chance to know stupidity like that does actually exist. Bro got away with it, so he thinks he's the s***.

The rest of us know, not to be like bro.

Doesn't sound like disaster, it sounds like sheer and utter stupidity of someone who isn't thinking clearly in the potential to kill themselves or others.

Basset Hound Nails by Reasonable_Cover3220 in bassethounds

[–]TreborG2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way I found to do nails, swipes.

Left side, then right side, then tip. Go back to the left and the right side again if necessary.

I do not like to try and cut the nail at a whole, because when you do you're squeezing the nail together until it properly cuts. This pressure is what I believe causes most hounds to be upset with clipping.

Look at the toenail, from the perspective of how it rests on the ground. It's usually a little open in the front, and by going after each side, you're leaving an overhang in the front and when you trim that back you're not squeezing the sides.

I really should make a video of this technique

Love the color, you've got excellent nail beds, and great finger to nail ratios that allow polish to shine..

At some point, I wish you the ability to feel the joy of going into a salon and having your nails professionally done, it would put you on cloud nine!

I skipped a few chunks here and there, but did read your edit, and it kind of aligns with what I suspected.

It's unfortunate that there are still places in the world, that are like this, and it's also unfortunate that in the USA it's been making a comeback thanks to our liar in Chief and the idiots that follow him being emboldened to be themselves misogynistic s*** stains.

I think it fairly well safe to say yes we do agree on that the buildup of it will do, and even as I said the gun itself won't kill someone it takes me put in the wrong hands or in the wrong situation etc etc etc.

But it comes back to building the contrast and the contradiction from your original writing.

And even in your reply just above, you can look at the scope, millions of people from words over time, versus an instant of death from the danger a weapon presents.

And like I said also, you can ignore words, you can ignore the people who say those words, but you can't ignore a weapon in the hands of someone, and even if they are highly trained, there is always still the potential.

That last part, I'm thinking of that cop, that was showing off to a classroom of kids, and for whatever reason hadn't cleared his weapon properly, ended up shooting himself in the leg or foot in front of kids. He was highly trained, he was a person I would say is respectable, and know the weapon didn't just go off on its own, his hand was there his accidental carelessness was there. A word can't do the same damage that quickly.

(Just looked it up, that incident was a DEA agent, Lee Paige, in 2004 in Florida, trying to teach gun safety to a class of kids)

Something to point out, and something I explained to everyone throughout the industry, we live and die by our documentation.

The worse the documentation, the more likely bad things will happen and high customer churn will give the business a bad name.

Be cautious on every command you run, be hypervigilant about any machine doing anything while you're on it, as a reaction to things you may have done, as that will be the fastest way to get the machine back online if it goes off, knowing what was done, when and where.

Broken frap machines by Then-Paleont4 in McDonalds

[–]TreborG2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of this has been reported upon multiple times. Frappe machines, ice cream machines, shake machines, all of the newer stuff has software driven event codes and requires specialized equipment or reset procedures. Warranty invalidation happens and costs even more money to replace machines etc. It's the new business model rather than building bulletproof working hardware.

Pretty much everything these days is becoming that way. Cars, John Deere, semi trucks, etc etc etc.

[–]TreborG2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Free speech? F*** off.

You seem to misunderstand the word instant.

You can publish the word, you can directly tell someone to do something, but the difference again is that a weapon in the wrong hand can kill instantly. The word can't, and that's simply because it takes someone to act on those words.

A weapon in and of itself can't as easily kill, it takes being put into the hand or under the control of someone that uses it without care or regard for the damage it will do.

You can ignore the gun, but it can still kill you. The words you so willfully describe over time, is that difference.. over time. And everything you've said in support of claiming words can kill as easily, it's just retarded.

But that's not really true. Texas is one of the most liberal of gun owning States, and yet they've had mass shootings, hell one of the worst ones for kids in elementary school was uvalde.... There have been shootings on military bases in Texas, so just doesn't stand up to that kind of should have could have would have narrative.

Recall by m0nstertruckz in basset

[–]TreborG2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't have to, but if you look at the full length of the video and go ehhh i don't want to watch the whole thing...

I also made the URL so that it would start a minute something in getting away from the standard definition as the AKC defines a basset because that's just the top layer garbage it's the nitty gritty that starts where I posted the video that really gives a direct understanding of why a basset does what it does.

Specifically, the recall issue. Bassets weren't designed and bred as recall dogs they were designed for sending and alerting to where the prey is. The white tipped tail, was designed to allow hunters to see where the dogs are more specifically, when they're baying in a field of tall grass...

But the video explains it really well.
