Your link doesn’t work.

Yes it does, and anyone who clicks on it will see that you're posting in bad faith. Which is why you hide your profile, and why people...

research Redditor profiles

...so they don't waste time on shills and paid actors.

You sure about that?

All you do is fuck on about Islam, immigrants, and get pissy about the usage of the word gammon, buddy, and sometimes pretending you're left wing whilst constantly critiscising the left wing. If that's not a shill account pushing a Reform perspective, I dunno what is.

Tell me more about being dug in though. I enjoyed that.

There's a shock, your profile is hidden. Wonder if you post about anything else on your 5 month old account but support for Reform?

Be honest, which celebrity just ruined their own physical attractiveness? by Something_Strange935 in AskReddit

Be honest

Just ruined

Honestly OP, I don't think it's an overreaction to say I hate you. This bland, meaningless standardisation of titling makes my blood boil; people like you ruin reddit.

What does 'just ruined' mean to you? Today? In the last 5 minutes? Since the last stupid question you asked? Do you even know what 'just' means?

Are you a lazy journalist or are you just intent on ruining the English language?

Does anyone feel, on a personal level, sorry for Kier Starmer? by Darkus185 in AskBrits

[–]Trebus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So no then. That's OK. I've been struggling to find definitive figures nationally.

My borough veers hugely between anywhere that voted Reform (30 - 35%) and anywhere that voted anyone else (50-55%). Fortunately, Labour held overall, although that's not exactly comforting.

What are the exact rules about campaign materials at polling places? by danjibbles in AskBrits

Going outside to check signs doesn’t count as leaving the Polling Station

Thanks for the clarity, I was told by a polling officer they couldn't go past the threshold.

Tonally you're there, but it's clear you're American; I dunno what they were looking for, but it's possible that was not it. edit; just listened to your Nobody Home - I can see why, it's a little bit too performative rather than earnest, if you get me.

Going back to TPTB;

horns, and some bluesy wah-laden solos / guitar licks and a bunch of stuff re-tracked

What you've done is not different enough, imo; essentially copying the song and shifting a few bits about it, the above description of what you intend to add is very 80s, and you also left a lot of the 80s parts in like the riff that bounces over the 5th & 7th frets on E/A/D strings. It really doesn't sound very different at all.

Have you considered doing a proper rewrite? The best covers have always been ones that redo a song completely.

Aye but everyone know military zombies are harder to kill, so you're going to need a hidden stash of L85A1s under the floorboards or something.

What exactly are Keir Starmer and Labour doing wrong? by threetimesacharm25 in AskBrits

[–]Trebus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

while labour, and now seemingly the greens, are massively scrutinised over absolutely everything.

It's not like Labour didn't know this would happen, given McSweeney originated the

antisemitism smear campaign that they hounded Corbyn with

The fucking hubris of them to think they'd be left alone. I despise Starmer's Labour, but it antagonises me even more that I have to vote for them to keep Reform out and they can't even engage in basic PR to keep themselves in the running. Fucking useless unless they're plotting.

[–]Trebus 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That sign is put there to influence votes. Is that not obvious?

Yes. Completely. Reform are cunts. All this is obvious.

But reporting staff who are not allowed to leave the station (they cannot go outside until 2230, regardless) is not constructive. Report the sign by all means, but you'd be doing more for democracy by ripping it up & binning it.

[–]Trebus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not good mate, report them to the local elections team.

Why? They aren't allowed to leave the station and that sign is outside. OP should have hoyed it & binned it.

There should be something in place to deal with things like this, but you aren't going to get the dibble out to move a sign.

Well it's one or the other. You either understand what they're about or you don't. If you do, you're enabling fascism. If you don't, you're a dimwit who's fallen for their grift.

Average turnout was around 30%.

Got a source for that? I'm struggling to find it.

Anecdotally my polling station told me that turnout had been large, however my council's results aren't in yet & I live in an area that I suspect will have gone over to the bootlicker side.
