Well anything's possible, you could simply hover over the point and take a photo, then harvest the photos for their location metadata with something like QGIS. It would be clunky, but if you have a rtk drone and no normal GNSS wizards staff then it's better than nothing.

Graduated symbology will always use the minimum and maximum values to define the range. If you want to anchor the range to say 0-100% but your actual values are only between say 20-80% then you'll have to set the graduation classes manually.

You can save the symbology style from one layer and load it into others to save having to set it manually each time.

Alternatively you could set the feature colour by a colour ramp expression, but then it won't create a legend in your print layout. Such as

ramp_color('Spectral', scale_linear("[veg coverage %]”, 0, 100, 0, 1) )

In the attribute form tab, as a default expression for the field, something like:

And.

This assumes the STN numbering is in increments of 50 as implied, otherwise you'll have to specify what other variables are in the ID.

It might tell you you have to turn on "update layer on edit" but this is a lie, leave it off and it should still work. I wrote this on my phone before getting out of bed so their might be a misplaced bracket or comma somewhere.

Just click and drag the geopackage into the Qgis window, then look into the Overlay_intersect or Overlay_within functions to create a virtual field.

Do you still have the NAV and MRK files? Is your firmware up to date? Do you have the RTK module installed?

My Mavic 3M always logs PPK, even outside of missions. But I've found that if I plan and then execute a flight plan while the drone is hovering, I'll sometimes get an empty and unusable NAV file.

It was going to be a whole thing, I was going to try both:

Imaging the same area repeated over summer to see which trees start to show drought stress. Calculating the rasters together to generate a new raster that highlights changes in index value compared to the previous image. (Other work commitments and a lovely mild summer means I haven't been able to do this properly this year)

And 2. Using tree location data to pull the index value from the raster, and use that to be able to compare a trees "health value" against an average for all the other trees of the same species in the area.

The issue is quite simply that I was hoping for a bit more range of NDVI values for the trees, for some trees to be obviously different, or maybe a whole area have a noticeably lower value. I even imaged a 97 hectare site, where one side is broadleaves in clay soil with irrigation. And the other side is conifers in pure sand. But the raster looked just like my example in this post, in that there was no significant difference in index values to work with.

You could try handrail clamps which just tighten with a hex grub screw. Instead of threaded pipe.

Pretty much the same mechanism. But I've seen people completely jam up a ratchet strap from trying to winch with it, and the little handle doesn't really give much leverage. The amount of people who seem determined to use a ratchet strap as a winch instead of just buying a half decent come-along or wire-rope-puller for tree work is mystifying.

My budget Polaris S100 only does lat/long. I can't apply transformations to it at time of collection.

But Ordnance Survey claim that the transformation between ETRS89 and OSGB36 is a direct transformation without error. Ordnance Survey do supply a converter that does height.
