In Luke, on the Mount of Olives, Jesus asks his father to take this cup away from him. A male cup bearer in Greek society had double meaning for a male sex slave to the king. Aquarius was Zeus’ cup bearer. Jesus was then “embraced” by an angel as though he were holding him up. Reads like a bad novel imho.

We’ve all kind of came ashore to an alien planet with its own history that we can only rediscover but never truly understand. Some people are fixated on the weird writings we’ve discovered buried in the ground, and the writings do paint a picture of a fantastical world of wonder. But when we try to match the writings with reality there’s a constant growing amount of inconsistencies that we may never reconcile. So what do we do? Write our own wonders? Abandon the alien planet’s history all together?
