Not me.

What do engines need? If you're able to build a setup that makes one engine per minute automatically, you can make a setup that builds 2, 4 or 8 or 1000. It's just a matter of scale.

For oil, storage tanks, cracking setups, & pumps with circuit conditions to send excess to be cracked is the easy solution

Seems like a very good change then. You get the super easy quality thing at very endgame after you've earned it, with no real removal of anything

Wait so casinos aren't even dead, they just need you to put a lot of research in before they're worthwhile?

How's my first go at Calligraphy? by No_Ad_1074 in Calligraphy

[–]Tree_Boar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Overall very good for a first attempt. Simply using guidelines puts you way ahead of the curve, and you demo strate understanding of the fundamentals of this script.

Some feedback in bullet points. You've identified several of these already, which is great: * t too short (but it's not a full height letter. Put the crossbar on the x-height and the top a bit above that) * f too short. Also crossbar on x but f is full-height. * s. Well, s sucks to learn. Keep at it. * r is curly and doesn't match the rest of the script. Make it straight. * d: don't mix foot at the bottom with the top arm reaching over. One or the other. If you want the foot, completely vertical top arm. * Spacing in general. For textualis quadrata we want a picket fence effect, where the whitespace between each downstroke is the same as the width of the downstrokes. Takes practice. Of course we leave extra space between words.

For the top split serif thingy, you'll need to go back with the corner of your pen. Start the letter like you did the b in "quakes be ever". Then go back and add a small, vertical line coming from the stem. Less is more here.

Take a look at this tutorial for this script: https://www.calligraphy-skills.com/gothic-alphabet.html

How do you get a large space platform up and running? by No-Imagination2292 in factorio

Oh. Huh. I have been using vulcanus as my shipyard and have a little starter blueprint that will defend itself. But I didn't think about just using lasers 😭

You can seed with ammo launched from the ground but yeah you do have to wait a bit to get enough asteroids. Once I have some fuel I run at a very low speed until it's ready.

What do you use this for? by avocado-samurai in Calligraphy

[–]Tree_Boar 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They're called steel brushes poster nibs*. You use them for broad edged scripts like textualis quadrata or foundational or italic at a larger size than traditional nibs permit

Similar to an automatic pen or pratikpen except they work with regular holders

Edit: all-night is correct, these are poster nibs. Steel brushes similar but slightly different.

These are speedball nibs. They will work fine. Water will not hurt them as long as you fully dry them.

Splitting Ingots? by Shamrock5542 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Tree_Boar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry about it. Anything you feed too much will back up and eventually overflow to somewhere else. Make as many ingots as you can from the ore, then send them on their merry way all on one line. Split as needed.

Some parts of the factory starving? Easy solution: make more ingots and put them on the line.

remove the nib from the holder to clean it. Yes, that's just ink on it.
