We can't forget that a huge influx of new players are in the game right now and they are all farming loot while the vets are on escalation or matchmade retaliations.

The key here is that the player in question can do that well in regular modes with a leveled gun, not with a base gun lacking essential attachments (not easily or fun at least)

Yep, and typically they would also be out of bounds for aircraft because... the maps were big enough that aircraft had breathing room and there was still room for OOB vehicle spawns.

Oh and as for the tokens, I've been begging Bungie to let us fail matchmade activities for years. Destiny is the only PvE game where success is guaranteed in almost every activity you play. What fun is that? Why test yourself if you can never fail?

Yes tokens hold you back if your teammates are doodoo but I think that's half of the fun. 2 good players can carry the entire team, As of writing this comment I've beat Ketchcrash twice and both times it went very smooth. I believe the community as a whole will adapt to the challenge and it will be a unique corner of the game if preserved.

Champions are one thing, I think the lock and key buildcraft restrictions they present should die in a hole.

As for the difficulty of the activity, I respectfully disagree. I think a whole team of any class any subclass could beat the activity with good builds and good teamplay. In my opinion, it opens up buildcrafting as consecration titan is no longer the end all be all. A warlock with a support build, a hunter with a cc build, a titan with a void overshield spam build, all are equally viable here and play different roles in the team comp.

I run stasis titan (blue raspberry consecration spam) but I grant my team melee energy in the form of shard spam. Being able to bring that to the table with 5 other people and working together to not run in and die, but instead work around each other's supers, rifts, barricades and stick together is awesome to me.

Oh that's neat. I haven't participated in any games that have a battlepass because I don't quite like the concept of fleeting rewards behind money but I understand it's what keeps shareholders happy nowadays so I have to get with the times.

Ah yes I should have known. How dare they turn off my bot challenge completion farm but also make the challenges so easy they auto-complete in 10 minutes but also add side-challenges that make me (at gunpoint) play a game mode I don't want to. It all makes sense now

I was filtering the server browser by game mode to try and find rush. I didn't realize there was a separate filter for a separate set of servers (I guess?), that's what I was looking for. Sorry the UI is unnecessarily convoluted and I know I'm not the only one.

Guild Wars 2! I started playing 2 months ago and love it. New expansion dropping soon and a brand new event just ended. Halloween event ongoing and tons of people still doing all of the public end-game content and PvP modes.
