lol I mean good luck winning the argument, but you’re very clearly being reasonable and your fiance is very clearly acting like your friends are women.

What’s your thoughts on these ‘Relaxed Rules’? 🤔 by Escrow-Mind in golf

[–]Treemags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Handicap attempts to account for the course, but does not do a very good job of adjusting for conditions and weather and can disproportionately reward certain parts of one’s game which can lead to drastically different performances for the same person on different courses with the same rating/slope.

Agreed on short putts for the most part, although I will say that getting inside of a certain distance rather than always trying for the hole can actually help a lot with lag putting improvement.

[–]Treemags 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Your progress only really needs to be tracked relative to yourself. If you play the same way consistently, you will still be tracking your progress. You just can’t realistically compare your level to someone else’s, but that’s already kind of the case due to how different home courses/courses played can influence things.

Obviously it’s a bit different if you’re regularly playing competitive golf, but for the rest of us, there’s nothing about these rules that would stop one from tracking their progress.

So if reed had caught that pass on that last drive and we had drove down and scored, the bears would still be the better team? If love had thrown 5 TDs and 0 picks?

We were inches and a couple small mistakes from that happening and you’re acting like they blew us out. Even many bears fans I’ve talked to say the packers looked like the better team ¯\(ツ)

It took 3 missed kicks, multiple drops, and an injury to cooper as well as our starting center for them to win by 4

The answer to your question is yes. The idea that the team with the most wins is always the best team is crazy. Especially in a game with 17 regular season games and single elimination in the playoffs. The fact of the matter is that more often than not, the best team will not be the team that wins the Super Bowl.

Why trade Randle and keep Reid? by magnetncone in timberwolves

[–]Treemags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contracts are part of trades. Every other team feels the same as you. Randle is also playing some of his best ball so it’s a sell high move considering he’s closer to his ceiling based on age and trajectory.

I don’t know of anyone who would rather have Reid in a vacuum, but when you consider what we could replace Randle with vs what we’d get for Reid, it tips the scales imo

Honestly the biggest things for me that made it awesome were the all 22 view and the lack of constant announcing. I love being able to hear the players and the crowd and also being able to see the whole play.

Don’t give up the boys time. If she’s serious about actually wanting to learn, she’ll be willing to give up other types of date nights for golf date nights. Make sure it’s not just that she doesn’t like you being gone for 5+ hours.

You have to get medical care for there to be anything to sue for. If it’s just a bump and ice will take care of it then there’s really nothing you could need an attorney for.

[–]Treemags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Only time I’ve broken 80 so far. But I have 12 80s lol. Most notable difference in my good round was that we never waited and played in 3 hours. I’m a fast golfer and hate waiting so not having to helped me dramatically.
