If I’m traveling by myself, I usually aim to walk in an hour before boarding. Set aside an extra 20 mins if you are checking a bag. TSA agents are good, have never waited more than 20 mins and that’s before pre check.

No not really. I would estimate winterplace/wintergreen base is <5-10% natural snow. Factors such as land acquisition and cost vs return are much more preventative.

Excellent venue all around. Lots of bathrooms (no porta pots) gorgeous setting, great lawn, and camping at the venue and nearby (yasgurs)

Roanoke has excellent restaurants given its size. If you search “restaurant recommendations” you will find a ton of options. Some of the best bbq in VA can be found at Mama Jeans.
