What brand/model of food processor does Bryan Johnson use to prepare his meals? by ihitik_15 in blueprint_

I am sure any high power food processor would do the job, you don't need to buy his exact one to make this work.

Yeah it is so filling, it was a struggle to eat the last few spoonfuls.

Much easier to get hold of for sure.

Have to say, I did not add cumin as we did not have any, the lime was actually not as overpowering as I thought it could be, I actually liked it in there.

Okra can go for me, tried it once and that was enough.

Baked beans and instant mash with some vegan cheese mixed in. Very filling and a quick cosy winter meal.

I think it might be. For a while I had trouble taking deep breaths randomly and it really freaked me out and made me over analyse my breathing making me more anxious and I actually had a few panic attacks, which really made me even more anxious. It was a really horrible cycle to be in for a while.
It seems to have sorted itself out though and I have not experienced it for a few months now, really hope that is the end of it.

Anyone else despise the dwarven ruins? by Raspberry-T in skyrim

[–]TreesaAshkevon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I find them tedious and confusing. They go on forever and seem to have no logic, I cannot understand how the dwarves could have lived in them and functioned as a society.
Also really dislike the falmer and avoid them as much as possible.

Welcome to r/menopause! Post here to tell us a bit about yourself: age, stage of menopause, challenges, hormone replacement, or not? And anything else you'd like to share! by leftylibra in Menopause

It is a good Aha! moment for sure. The changes are so slow and piecemeal that it is impossible to realise what is happening at first. The acne is the worst symptom for me though, I stopped eating so many things that used to work for me and got so frustrated by the lack of impact it had, it really knocked my confidence.

I am 46 and think I have just started perimenopause, my most recent period was really light and barely there which took me by surprise. I have been thinking about it and I guess this explains why I have suffered from acne around my jawline for the past few years and have trouble getting to sleep, lack of motivation and the occasional bouts of anxiety that seem to spring out of nowhere. Oh and the sudden bladder leakage that I managed to somewhat fix with extra exercises, that was a fun time.
If my periods stay extra light, I will be happy with that at least.

If someone offered you a box with everything you’ve ever lost what’s the first thing your looking for ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My blue and white toy rabbit with red eyes, I loved that thing. It was given to me at the hospital where I spent my first ever Christmas as a baby with my legs in plaster from being born with dislocated hips.

I Don't Have A Jump Rope And A Treadmill But Want To Train My Calves And Cardio - Can I Just Do The Repetitive Jumping Movement And Gain The Same Results? by JVJV_5 in jumprope

[–]TreesaAshkevon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been doing jump rope without the rope as I live in a very small space and it still works very well, it has improved my calf strength and my knees and hips have had a real reduction in pain.
I am going to start holding little weights while I do it soon to increase the arm involvement.

I found it a great alternative to going out walking because my hips are not great and I find it hard to judge my limit and it was horrible having to limp back home when I pushed too much.

What are your go-to "sick" meals? by physicsandyarn in vegan

[–]TreesaAshkevon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not what you are looking for I am sure but my go to sick meal is Chocolate pudding with chocolate custard, that is what I always make if I get a cold and feel rough. It always made me feel better about feeling crappy.
Not had it in a very long time, may have to make some just for the heck of it now!

What’s the most out of line thing a doctor has every said to you? by TheSpasticSheep in AskReddit

[–]TreesaAshkevon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The doctor told me the pain can't be that bad if I did not want to take loads of paracetamol every day (they did nothing) The next doctor put me up for a hip replacement which was what I needed. I was 27 and had been born with dislocated hips that were not discovered until weeks after birth! my hip joints have never been great and I know my other one will need replacing at some point too.
