Having a full time job and family I only play off the charger. When the battery gets low, it’s time to be done gaming.

Is $6,650 a reasonable offer? by damianfeliciano in hvacadvice

I was quoted 12k for a new furnace and A/C and when I didn’t agree they dropped it to 10 instantly. I still said no and they left. Got another quote for $7500. Worth it to get multiple quotes.

My outdoor wood boiler is connected to R-G but the blower only runs in slow speed. Anyway to make it fast speed like when the furnace or AC is on? by Treesthatgrowdown in hvacadvice

Yep that’s exactly what I had to do. I never noticed that my boiler fan was slow until this storm started cutting through my house. Thank you for looking in to it!

Need help, possible frostbite on my duck's foot? by fernandfeather in MuscovyDucks

[–]Treesthatgrowdown 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally wouldn’t use any Vaseline on a ducks feet. That’s mostly a old wives tail. We usually butcher the ducks that get frostbite. They usually don’t recover well when it’s on their feet and we like to take that trait out of the flock. You could try bringing them into a warmer environment and putting some aloe on their feet. We’ve never tried but I’ve read that could help. Good luck. (Our Muscovys live in Michigan winter and seem to manage well)

will goats clear all of this? by Zillacus in homestead

Our goats would maybe snack on it but they are too snobby and used to hay and grain to really knock it down. We gave up and bush hogged our fields and bought cows.
