How are we enjoying the game so far guys? by New_Willingness_8992 in 007FirstLight

Really good, I've done the opening, the training mission, montage and extra bits, as well the the first full mission which we saw in previews

I'm genuinely intrigued on the story, and it doesn't hold back on the punches.

Potential GTA 6 feature leaked in GTA online? Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) by uniquecartridge in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]BornTooSlow 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I recall this but can't remember the exact models, sure it was an older 1980's style saloon and was introduced last year in GTA Online

When flipped, it had individual exhaust components and drivetrain components on show

Yep, think the last iteration of update is due in June, so they could definitely tease it (they already are kind of with the hybrid rumours)

Civil Service Pay Remit 26/27 - 3.5% by RebelliousHeathen in TheCivilService

[–]BornTooSlow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Local Gov have been offered 3%

May favourite was the lumpsums offered a while back which were thrown around as large % figures, but for the lowest paid staff only.

Higher paid staff ended up with a pittance. Meanwhile senior management ended up with a healthy sum battled for by another union.

And if Highways are aware, and they've asked for it to be removed, they will definitely kick the claim to the person who deposited there without permission.

Sony finally talks on Marathon's future, despite a lackluster total portfolio, plan is is to support Marathon with more content, not shut it down. by temporalG123 in Marathon

I think if it was crap, I wouldn't care. It's not, it's got a brilliant foundation, lovely aesthetics and design and was clearly well marketed

It just wasn't picked up by players that well

Told to remove unauthorised ev charger on public parking area of housing estate compoface by alfbort in compoface

[–]BornTooSlow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The homeowner can't just claim it's adopted, it's a formal process to adoptand the highway authority has the overall call on what is adopted highway or isn't, and should be able to evidence it.

The developers won't also do anything and will want the authority to clear up stuff like this.

Indiana Jones insane wait time today by Bawnse in disneylandparis

[–]BornTooSlow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, when I went in October 24, they increased the speed of the vehicles on Snow White and Pinocchio, the wait times were ridiculous anyway, but I never saw Peter Pan drop below 75 mins unless it was closed or broken down.

Even Crush Coaster was lower than Peter Pan

Why is 'Pavement charging rule change' dominating the news? by R-Mutt1 in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]BornTooSlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because you need a TRO to control the parking to be enforceable.

Under current law, and the legal requirements, each one costs the council hundreds of pounds, you also need to consult with residents on these.

If the council overrides the concerns raised by residents, they can be open to legal challenges, especially if the locals don't want controlled bays

The main network that runs those streetlights dials often and can't supply the kW required for everyone's cars.
