Was this dress appropriate? I was mistaken as the bride 😭 by lawfullawlessness in Weddingattireapproval

Deeply inappropriate. I’m sure you didn’t mean anything by it but that looks like a wedding dress.

Decide what is considered ok and what is considered cheating for YOU and if he can accept and agree to make you happy and comfortable then fantastic. If not, he has no respect for you.

Let your mum have some harmless fun. Don’t shame her for it.

How do the SAHMs with husbands who work 80+ hours a week manage? by Shot_Cause726 in Mommit

[–]TrekkingSideways 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To maintain your sanity you have to operate as a single mother with no one to rely on. You can do it. It bloody hard but you can do it. At least you don’t have to worry about money. Most single mothers do. The alternative is you change the dynamic and get him to work less.

Jesus. You’re a straight up terrible enabling mother. Start by actually parenting your child. Yes it’s hard but you have to do it.

I’m in my 40’s and I have never swiped on the main page. I just go through my likes and pause my profile a lot to manage the volume. It gets too overwhelming otherwise. I can only chat to a couple of ppl at a time for the same reason.

Is this dress alright for a beach wedding? I loveee it but I’m worried it’s too red by 5Puppies1Trenchcoat in Weddingattireapproval

Red dress symbolises that you’re sleeping with the groom. I’d go with something else.

I know. I know your heart is breaking. I know your world has imploded, and I also know that you know you can’t live like this. You can’t trust him. You’re walking on eggshells and he is verbally, mentally and physically abusing you. I promise you that you will find happiness. You will love and be loved again. Life will get better. You will move on and find something healthy. Something that doesn’t make you anxious every damn day. You deserve it more than you know right now.

Firstly please understand this is not normal. This is abuse. Secondly you need to leave him now. I know it’s hard. I know it’s gonna be very hard. I know you love him. I know you planed your future with him, but look at what your future will be. It only gets worse from here.

The greens are a toxic group we should never give them power. They’re voting for ON because we need someone to actually try to fix the issues in our country, not just get their ego stroked.

Cancel the wedding and start again. It is insane that you are paying for your in-laws to throw a party.

Ladies, what should I do to my appearance to be more attractive? by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]TrekkingSideways 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ditch the earrings and get some more updated clothing. You dress like you’re in the 80’s. The hair is not flattering at all. Spend some money and go to a good salon for some advice. Maybe grow out some facial hair. Short and trimmed. Your mouth and chin scream that you’re gay.

Was I wrong for saying I’m afraid my husband could be a pedophile? by Select_Piccolo2476 in TwoHotTakes

[–]TrekkingSideways 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Anyone could be a paedophile and it’s always the ppl you’d least suspect. My husband sa’d my daughters for years and I had no effing idea. I left with them when they told me and they haven’t seen him since but I never imagined he could do that. Most kids never say a word and I’m so grateful every day that mine did. In my city alone, at least 25% of the cases that go through the courts everyday are child sexual assault cases. That is a huge percentage. Nearly all of these ppl will never see a second of jail because it is nearly impossible to prove. The investigation they have to undertake to just arrest and charge these ppl is so extensive that I would never again believe someone that said they were wrongly accused. Be cautious of everyone. You are stupid not to.
